@@sigmatau7 I'd say expecting doctors to not drug and physically alter children in ways that isn't medically necessary is a pretty low bar as far as expectations go. What they are is what they are born as, the most empathetic thing to do is teach them how to accept and live with that, and not let them be permanently altered because of their current personality that has more of a chance of changing completely than not. If they have the same personality as an adult, then they're free to go ahead and do whatever. If my parents let me "be who I was" as a teen, I'd be covered head to toe in tattoos, have a split tongue, horns implanted in my head, and I'd probably have the whites in my eyes dyed black. Thankfully it was neither legal at my age (that should tell you something right there) nor were my parents willing to let someone do all that to me even if it was. And I'm glad for that, because I certainly don't want any of those things now, lol
