It pretty much is. He does what he wants in the week, a light drive on friday, the real work on Saturday and then turns up on Sunday and has a nice drive around for a bit, maybe the odd overtake and then goes home and goes to sleep.

This isnt the impressive thing in this video... every F1 racing driver will speak calmly while going 300 kph. The impressive thing is that he was willing to risk disqualification in order to get an extra point while using old tyres. Such was his confidence.

I understand what you're saying but you're wrong. He is in a race what do you mean he doesn't have anyone to race with? He's racing everyone on track. He jeapardised his race for his ego to get fastest lap. It's pretty simple to understand conceptually. There's no need to take excessive risk. The job that makes him a champion was done, then he risked undoing that for a fast lap. Turned out well for him on that occasion and everyone wants to suck a fart out of his arse because of it, but how different things could have been. I think his team get the concept. Mario, stop hating on Max. You are making a fool of yourself. Leclerc is good but not that good. As a Max fan, i also love to see Leclerc do good and have awesome races. I still remember a battle between Max and Leclerc in silverstone where they were racing wheel to wheel for almost the whole track. Leaving eachother space while still racing hard. You can have your favorite driver without bashing others. Try it some time!

The experience that Max got from fighting tooth and nail throughout the 2021 season with arguably the greatest driver of our generation that is Lewis Hamilton, has kind of evolved him to the next level. Yes he’s got a car worthy of his talent and potential now but he has a kind of aura and energy around him that makes you think that no matter what happens, he will always come out on top. He’s become much more calculated, cold and developed a killer instinct.

The way GP says "yours is a 17.3" almost sounds like he's cracking a smile. He knows Max better than anyone in those moments bc he's quite literally the other voice in his head. GP was obviously following orders passing it on as he should, telling Max what to do, but you could tell GP knew exactly what Max was going to do there.

We are witnessing something special here and we should all appreciate it. It's possible, although unlikely, for him to move into P3 all time for career wins this season. He should certainly do it next year. And of course it's 75% car, but Sergio - driving the exact same car, and not getting the same results - is proving that the other 25% is pretty important.

This is a dumb comment. Did you not see the Spanish GP? Checo came from the back to P4. Would have maybe had P3 if Magnussen wouldve yielded to blue flags and let him pass but thats not the point. Checo is just as good of a racer as Max
