Coming back from Berlin Germany in 76 August, my beloved brother now deceased introduced me to this awesome voice that we didn't have in Europe makes me miss him terribly yet I have memories that I will take to my grave of our close bond. Though by a different mother, when I was introduced to him I ask my mother if she would accept him as her son. My mother now also deceased this year answered yes. She treated him like her very own. So to Mr. Beverly thank you for the lovely music. The gift God gave you is phenomenal to me and millions of others

Listening to these tracks stir up a lot of memories. Every family function or family get-together has a Frankie Beverly and Maze music segment. At least in the Black community. My adolescent and teen years was full of Maze's music. Moms would play the albums on a Saturday when she was cleaning the house. Good food would be just about done cooking when I walked in. Frankie Beverly and Maze is associated with a bunch of good times with the family. All throughout the 80's. I'm glad to have experienced this great music in the manner that I did.
