Getting a bit of a feel of the Tulip Mania. Nothing against the technology or the entire concept of cryptocurrency or Bitcoin. In essence, they are good. But the price of BTC right now, is it really where it should be? Does the technology really hold that level of VALUE? If yes, how? If I buy a house worth Rs 35 lakhs, I can go & live in it, value is tangible. If I buy Rs 35 lakhs worth of Bitcoin which would be 1 Bitcoin atm, what value am I getting? Listen I have nothing against having a "holding position", you do it as per your risk appetite, EVEN I HAVE DONE IT. But the basic fundamental that's constitutes a bubble is when people don't really understand the real value of the product & just keep on buying it because of the CRAZE. That's what happened in the Tulip mania, and the same happened in the DotComBubble. These were moments when things were sold at MUCH HIGHER PRICES than what they were really supposed to be. No doubts they were good, but not worth what it is being sold at. The same thing over here. A quick look at the Binance app will show you the "leverage trading" for crypto is at its peak right now. That is never a good sign for the market. Even "Michael Burry" referred to it in his tweet. And if you understand the whole "bitcoin price going up like anything" situation to its core, you are actually betting against the government & their centralized money. Till how long it can go until it gets regulated? My few arguments regarding things shared in the video: - The terrorism situation that was talked about in the video was molded by saying it will be great when the crypto actually gets regulated. The truth is "the bad actors" can buy anything with it today. Heck, the official website of Bitcoin says that you remain anonymous - an effective example is the case of the "silk road black market". That would give you an idea of the risks such decentralized currencies bring into the picture - the technology is effectively supposed to be taking the mediators out of the picture but the app being promoted here in itself a mediator & by buying crypto over there effectively means we are trusting the app owners with our money because it is effectively being kept there.... until we withdraw it... But the point is "having a holding position", which means we shouldn't. Now I know that Bitcoin can be transferred to even hardware wallets to keep it secure, but honestly who is gonna do that? And the example given of Uber is not good really. So you are saying someone totally out of the blue should be messaging me saying I will be your cab driver today & I should ride with them? Would you do that? No, right. So essentially what "Uber" is charging you for is the VALUE & real trust that it brings to the picture. So basically UBER is getting paid for the VALUE it is creating. The majority of people investing in Bitcoin & others have ZERO clues about what it does. It is another shiny object for them. But they are doing it because the price is going up. They don't know the REAL VALUE of what they are buying really... and that is a BIG PROBLEM. As I said, even I have some of my money into Crypto that I invested back in 2017 with the idea that I don't care about that money anymore. But what is happening now is crazy levels of buying that too with "leverage trading", which is not at all good. As soon as the gas runs out, there is a big danger for such people & the market. My 2 cents: - Should you invest? - yes you can (should)... but using the money that you don't really care about. If it turns good, voila :) - Take out profits so you are out of the risk position - Stay away from leverage trading - Don't sell your tangible assets to buy crypto. The same thing happened in India back during the time of "Speak Asia" at its peak. All those people lost their hard-earned money. @ranveer I love your podcast. Discovered it around a month ago & even messaged you on Instagram that I love your work & keep up the great work. Just that this video didn't highlight the risk part of crypto investing, that's what I am not really happy about. My word about the app being promoted here - I trust it should be good. Of course, Ranveer would be promoting a genuine product only. It does what it says. I must admit this is a great video but you know bitcoin trading is a very volatile one and as such it's too risky for beginners without basic knowledge to make good fortune out of it, I suggest you invest with a reputable broker and enjoy your returns.

😢Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
