Isn’t that sad, how cruel other kids can be? My kids would never poke fun at a child who smelled, they would come home and ask why or how we could help that child. Parents, raise your kids with empathy, please. Kindness is important. So are manners.

I agree with foster mom i did the samethings she dose i always pleaded with DCF TO LET THE KIDSi have in my household to see there family, as she said if when they found out these parents need help try with them before removing them from their parents ,i have been doing foster parenting for 17 years + and i enjoy helping out these children, when they leave they always want to come back, which we have good relationships God bless this family,

Kauser the fact that you recognise what it takes to foster/adopt means you are going to be great. I've fostered children who were hard to be placed due to anger filled behaviour. There will be hard times, times filled with smiles and laughter and they will test you to see where your boundaries are especially if they have already been in many temporary foster placements. They are trying to see if they will be moved on if they behave badly etc. There is a lot of psychology behind how abuse etc impacts a child (they tend to need to process what occured at each life stage) and I suggest you have a good understand on psychology before you complete the application for fostering. My advice would be to research it as much as you can and talk to parents who have fostered and adopted about their experience. I wish you all the best, trust yourself and make sure you have a good support system around you. In my country I was promised all sorts of help including a counselor for each child but the reality is they don't have the time or resources to do that. Xx

Yes! I couldn’t have said it better! The world would be a much brighter and happier place if ALL humans treated each other with kindness,respect, love and compassion as these parents did! I recently watched a news video regarding India and the tragedy that is unfolding. The comments I read was so heartbreaking and unsettling. People putting blame, pointing fingers, talking politics, but yet very little offered financial help. A lot offered prayers. Prayers are great. God is amazing. But as humans WE all should be digging deep and giving what we can to help others. Our world is sad and I’m sure the way humans treat each other, breaks Gods heart. Is it really that hard to show compassion, be compassionate! To give, to love, to show kindness, to help those in need. Those 440,000 children that need a loving foster home, id jump at the chance in a heartbeat to help as many of them as I can just as I would give to help those people in India. You are so right, our world would be so much brighter. Gods blessing to you and your family, and may Gods Angels wings protect and guide these boys and their wonderful (and brave parents lol) every day. What a happy ending for these young men.
