The highlight of this video was seeing “Flamboyant” in action. I love hearing the engines roar to life….watching the wake from the stern….and experiencing the hull cut thru the waves like a hot knife thru butter. Such a treat getting a test drive! We need more of these! Great video….keep up the amazing work!

Oh my goodness that boat ticks all the boxes for me, still unobtainium but more of a realistic dream for what I would realistically use a boat for (day/wknd trips and local exploring). Well done Grant for allowing us to look around, she is beautiful! 👍😁🇬🇧❤️

Years ago on Grand Designs a couple bought the old Tenby Lifeboat Station to convert into a home. When asked how much the project had cost the owner said " Somewhere between a lot of money and an awful lot of money" This I think applies to how much this gentleman has spent on this beautiful boat. Money well spent . It's classy

Not easy to trump my Dad..?.Louly; Monaco 36, Les'Gargot of Hamble aka Tarquol. ... Grant; has certainly achieved that. My ongoing project..we lost a very good man and friend in Peter Birkett. However we are still in play to reconsruct a 50 year old (Fiart Hermes) with input from my original engineer of choice : Adrian Bright, We hope tof produce a reasonably quick Diesel hybrid..... G. It is a lot more spacious inside then the outside lets on. Love the gentle deep pur it makes running idle. Lovely boat. Love the pride and enjoyment on the captn's face taking her out. I sure am going to miss the sweet song from boats like these ones everything turns electric.

Fabulous looking boat, I remember seeing one of these in Southampton about 15 years ago, it really stuck in my mind, gorgeous design, something that has to be seen in the flesh. When beauty and function must share 36 feet, most boats have bits of each scattered about. But everywhere you look on this fine craft, beauty and function are as one. Supermarine must take credit for the function, while Grant has performed the clever marriage with beauty. Every view of the boat issues the impression of comfort and speed. Thanks to all involved in this life's work - and to those who helped in sharing this with the rest of us. There is just one word to sum it all up - FLAMBOYANT.

What a magnificent boat. The owner has done a tremendous job upgrading this unit. The layout is perfect. I love the overdrive feature, it's one of a kind. Love the natural sound of those Yanmar engines singing in unison as she's on plane. Perfect size for boating fun and practicality. It warms the cockles of my heart to see Grant realize his dream. Such a fun and functional sport cruiser. I just love the lines and how easy it is to walk around those side decks. I’m curious about the year it was built. Did I miss that? Doesn’t really matter because it looks almost new anyways!

I absolutely love that boat. Twin cabins all be it small but still twins on a 36 is totally awesome. He did a fantastic job and refitting it. It looks the money for sure. We have had many boats while I was growing up and into my early adult life. My father shared a boat with his cousin that I used a few times a week while in high school and college. I would take my girl friend out to watch the sunset on the lake. I would not drop the anchor and let it float. We would occasionally take a swim but always stay rather close to the boat lol for obvious reasons. It had twin 454 gas Mecruizers on it with out drives. It did about 45 MPH or maybe a bit more. It got on plane in seconds literally. Once the engines were properly warmed you could just slam that throttle forward and it went and boom on plane. Totally awesome. I turned on a dime as well. I have many more boat stories if you are interested.

Oh I loved this so much! Such a beautiful old school boat, wonderful throaty engines and gorgeous lines. And Dartmouth just as beautiful - and Blackpool Sands where you dropped by. I adore that area as my mum lived there and it was a trip down memory lane too - lots of familiar views and landmarks. Great job Nick - loved this one.
