Hermitcraft is a Minecraft SMP server featuring some of UKposts's best and most talented Minecrafters. The server is 100% Minecraft Vanilla 1.17! This is the eighth season of Hermitcraft, and we will be basing with Docm77 on a brand new Hermit Continent with all of our fellow Hermits!

The hermits are dedicated to their season-ly traditions, Grian makes a Tag game, Grian starts a war(sort of), Ren make a wood farm and shop, Doc goes crazy on farms and stuff, Wels goes crazy on off camera grinding, Mumbo comes up with some season-theme for himself and comes up with every loophole possible, ect

Impulse's base is more mid-century modern than anything. xB's is sci-fi. Zedaph's is modern. We don't know what Mumbo, Pearl, BDubs, or Keralis are doing for their megabases yet.

You should commission Cleo to use armour stands to add bubbles into the green tanks on the log shop. It would really take the build to the next level. Edit: I wrote the first part before you filled them with the logs, but you could make the bubbles out of the different types of logs and planks.

The amount of effort and time put into Rendog videos is unmatched. I have said it in the past and I’ll say it again, Rendog is a premiere UKpostsr with great editing, great narration and just all around great videos. I couldn't agree more with wanting it to be easier to get copper and deepslate. Recently did a build that required 15 stacks of copper blocks. It's amazing, but WOW did it deplete my supply and now I AFK every night to get more copper. I feel your pain, Ren! We'll push through it :)

If you don't have the space or patience to space out the copper, you can seed it by having fully oxidized copper spread evenly throughout the area. I've tested it, and the results are that a 'seed' block in range can motivate the non oxidized to turn green twice as fast. _Not as fast as, and still the most efficient is, to spread the blocks out..._

Part of me would love that tank to be filled with fire charges, and firing at zero tick speed as boatems are meeting/on. Fire charges have close to infinite range, as long as chunks are loaded.

6:38 on the deep slate side of this problem it should be easier after 1.18 because you'll find more the deeper you go but with copper it's just something you need to grind out

Hey Ren, keep in mind that when 1.18 drops it brings with it those large sprawling copper and iron veins. Hopefully they up the base copper drop rate with and without fortune 3. It does feel slightly rare and/or a bit expensive in terms crafting blocks. Its so amazing for building and outside of the spyglass/lightning rod there isn't much critical use besides for building.

Next time when you want oxidized copper, you can just build with regular copper, wait for it to age in place and come back later and deoxidize it to the required level and wax after it's done - I know, crazy idea, but saves lots of time :D

Did you know in bedrock edition, there's a horse glitch where speed effect pass down with the baby? Which means, after a bit of breeding, you can have a horse that goes 400 blocks per second.

This is basically from Grian but a wall of copper acts as an hour-glass, basically like a timer for a project or something. You could of course use copper for that type of idea Ren. Just an idea!
