She actually seems pretty awesome. Her goals are focused. She's thinking about helping other people. The idea to help her class mates, acknowledge and appreciate the other women in her classes, enough to want to help them start their careers, is admirable. So many people in America are apathetic or just all for self. It's refreshing to see someone who is ambitious and also really cares about others. This is the first interview I've seen. I do remember seeing her maybe 2 or 3 years ago come through my FB feed and i commented back then that she could go far if given the opportunity. Being from Houston, I wanted to show my support. I think I have a good eye and ear for talent. I've been right a few times.

I'm all for her getting paid but you don't sign a lease on an apartment, move in, then realize the rent is cheaper across the street and your apt wasn't everything it was cut out to be, so you ask the landlord to adjust your lease agreement. And if they don't, you just refuse to pay your rent. Unless it's specified in the agreement , you stick to the agreement.

From another college student’s perspective...changing your major literally can turn your whole college experience around. I hated college and I thought I was stupid when I started first started with my old major then I switched it and literally repeatedly made Dean’s List. Also she’s on point about the jobs. Jobs want experience but won’t hire anyone to give them experience.

I think she is a great person, very easy to digest and very marketable. She's a girl's best friend and a guy's homie. I really like her and she's very well spoken with a sound head on her shoulders. THAT BEING SAID, her situation is a classic example on why you should hold out before signing to gain leverage. She signed a deal that was standard because of the risk 1501 had to take on, she just happened to blow up. Sit back, honour your contract and then renegotiate. You are way to smart to play the victim here, any reasonable person with some business acumen knows 1501 has done nothing wrong. EDIT: I didn't realize how much traction my comment attracted, thank you for the conversation. I do want to add on to what I said with an example. The Harry Potter kids were paid peanuts for the first movie relative to what they got for the second movie. The movie was a hit, the kids played the role well and Warner couldn't replace them. They have to pay them what they deserve now based on the success of the first movie. We've seen many "stars" think they caught one until the hype dies down rly fast.
