Sherri is right. She does need to lighten up. The girl has no sense of humor. Whenever someone disputes with or disagrees with her, Meg rolls her eyes or starts trying to shout them down in very unprofessional ways. She is incapable of seeing any perspective outside of her own hardliner conservative views (i.e. gun reform or national anthem kneeling). Plus, she will at times tout these Fox News talking points that are complete lies, which is a very irresponsible thing to do on such a large platform.

I don't think Meghan is a good fit for the show. She seems to not realize that it is not just a political show, where you only comment on politics. She often has nothing to say, unless the topic is political. I remember when various members of "Black Panther" cast were on, Meghan basically said nothing. Ana is politically aware, incredibly witty and very funny.

They hired her bc she is very headstrong and that makes for great TV but also for people like myself who often understand her side and feel like she has to be as aggressive as she is when 3 or 4 of the other woman are all super liberal.

xris905 Except that The View is not just a political show; it's an entertainment show. She was hired to be able to converse on a wide variety of topics, including ones that have nothing to do with politics. Sunny is a lawyer by profession. Her job on the show is not just to render legal opinions. Whoppi is an actor; she does not only comment on Hollywood. Megan, besides being a Republican, is a woman, a sister, a daughter, a wife, etc.; she should be able to have opinions outside of politics. Finally, you must not have read my comment well because my point is certainly not that the show does not need a conservative voice, but that that person ought to be well-rounded enough to have opinions on a variety of topics. The person ought to be entertaining.

She doesn't speak for the old school Republicans, what the part used to be -- the ones who could have civil conversations with Democrats.. This is the new face of Republicans who view everyone else as "the others", who evoke fear, separation, racism, if the President I'd doing it they support it. They don't stick up for what is humane, what is right(I.e. Separating children from their families and putting them in cages) if challenged on a sensitive issue that they inherently know is wrong they , like Trump, become bullies pointing blame at Obama or creating distractions by yelling about Hillary's emails.

Would love to see Ana as a permanent host. She is my favourite guest co-host. Meghan is right. The View is not the same show as it was a few years ago, it is much more political and social issues..which is awesome...and the co-hosts need to reflect that. Sara is a sweetheart, but I'm glad she's leaving..she doesn't fit the direction of the show now and is much better suited for GMA

She was one of the best at speaking with compassion and empathy on important topics, political and otherwise, and she's a white person who was able to speak about topics like race without being uptight and defensive, or an embarrassment. I love watching Ana.... but I don't think she's a good Sara replacement. She'd be good for the show.... but she's a better replacement for Sunny or Meghan or Joy. Maybe even Whoopi.... but Sara was so happy go lucky and free thinking and just an all around good girl that I would actually like to see more of on the show..... Carter I disagree they are not liberal. They are Republicans but not willing to support racism just to get a conservative judge. They are what it looks like when you put country over party. The are Americans first. I don’t agree with most of of their views. Meghan is rude to both the co hosts and the audience. Not too long ago she even told the audience to be quiet because they didn't agree with her. She rolls her eyes, interrupts, and makes noises when people talk about stuff she doesn't agree with. Maybe she doesn't even realize she does it. I want Rosie back on "The view" but as long as Whoopi is there that ain't happening. Rosie quit abrutely in 20l5 because of Whoopi. Whoopi & Rosie clashed because both women wanted control. I doubt Megan and Rosie would get along. Megan is much worse then Elizabeth Hassleback ever was. Liz and Roe clashed in a epic on screen screaming match. That particular show is among "Views" most popular and watched videos on youtube. Rosie's tenure on "The view" and her tense battle with Trump brought the talk show feast VERY high ratings.

Meghan seems oblivious to how condescending and disrespectful she is to her own cohosts on the air sometimes. That's what gets me the most. I've tried to like her, but I just can't, not with how she acts and talks about other people currently. I agree with Sherri, she needs to lighten up and learn some empathy and compassion for people who are different from her. Also, learning when to listen and learning active listening skills. Seems like all she does on the show is talk at people instead of actually engaging in conversation--She's not on Fox anymore, she needs to change her approach.

Sorry Sheri is right. If she spent time in poor neighborhoods or poor countries she would have a different attitude and hopefully start using her loud voice to actually help people in need.
