rewatching this, I realized the part where she’s underwater, she fills the hole up with her tears! like in the crybaby mv where she fills her room with water. there’s so many parallels in this it’s so great and I love it ❤❤

I love this so much. I love the ending how it seems like she is representing someone trying to control how she lives from behind a screen. It's so accurate from the behavior of her trolls and "fans". She is so beautiful and strong and I love everything she does for us. She deserves better.

LITERALLY, at the end of the mv the setting was an entirely different aesthetic, the video game format illustrates how Melanie’s “fans” are trying to pressure her into reverting back to her Crybaby/K-12 aesthetic, which clearly doesn’t work. Mel shows that she is confident in her new style by breaking the gaming system. I LOVE THIS

I think the meaning of this music video is what the person wants Melanie to be. Example: 1: Her fans bodyshame her and wanted her to be skinny and tall. 2: The water that she drank during the music video is representing her fans throwing items at her and get interrupted by her 1 fan, that's why she drank the cup for 1 second because it's representing her fans interrupting her.

tunnel vision is all about being manipulated, and that is what melanie perfectly portrayed in this music video - the whole time, she’s being told what to do, and everything good that happens is taken away like “fill their cup, take it away” or “give them flowers, take it away” and then the reference to crybaby and the tears fill up the room is reflecting on how hard it is to put up with the pressure of doing everything right and making she no one is upset, yet still, people will “call them a bitch for being human.”

Make sure u keep streaming PORTALS and the mv’s because the views keep getting smaller and smaller, TUNNEL VISION debuted with 1.4M views and 250K likes in its first 24 hours and FAERIE SOIRÉE only had 1.2M views and 230K likes in its first 24 hours, Melanie is working really hard on these videos and she even had to sacrifice the budget of the PORTALS film for these mv’s and for videos like these it’s probably a lot of budget to but in each video so that’s why there might be a difference in quality, so everyone please keep streaming to make Melanie proud🧚♀️🍄🕯️✨

This music video is so cool, the portals mvs just keep getting better. I loved the video game aesthetic and how the hearts she sent people are in the music video and create a story. I also liked how the little girl at the end represents the childish fans and internet users who choose to do everything that the heart stones say. The vibes and visual effects are amazing and so high quality. This mv made me realize that tunnel vision is about the general public objectifying Melanie rather than just men in her life. It's directed toward people who only see her as a celebrity or a sex doll rather than an actual human.

the theme really struck me because it was really just an interpretation of the lives of celebrities. their lives are like a video game where fans control them and this mv really brought that message out really well. after i watched the video, i had a feeling that melanie wanted this to be a sister video to show and tell. someone else in the comments had the same thought as me in the "call them a b***h for being human" as fans hate on famous people for having feelings.

GUYS!!! I think the girl at the end could represent how some fans view Melanie. The whole song is about discovering your true power and not letting others manipulate you so when the game is over and the girl is upset, it could represent Melanie being free and doing what she wants but some other "fans" don't want her to change so they react negatively. Even the description credits have her as "fan girl" ( I think). THOUGHTS???

A lot of people were really unhappy with the portals album too because they couldn't take the sudden change in like.. aesthetics? theme?? It's not all cutesy and pastel and weird it's dark and it's raw and it's a big change from K-12 if not something completely on a new level. I definitely agree with this statement though. But also I noticed the part where it said "Chase her for a photo" reminded me of 'Show and tell' - "There are strangers taking pictures of me when I ask no more"

Bro, I find it unbelievable when people say that just because Melanie no longer uses the aesthetics of her character Cry Baby, that she no longer conveys messages in her songs. I think it fits pretty well the topic this song’s about. Because in some parts someone is changing the creature’s appearance, maybe to make them look “better” or something. I've been a mel fan for a long time. Melanies big change was amazing! I will support her no matter what. All the merch she makes is amazing and she deserves more treatment other than people saying "she looks weird now" and "her b00bs increased" like mind your own business! Melanie has been my number 1 out of all people. She's so relatable and her songs sound sweet until you really listen to the lyrics. Mel is an amazing singer. There's lots of haters all around the world and Mel shouldn't worry about them! Mel treats her fans like they are babies. Taking care of them and supporting. Melanie as made many songs and albums, When she made K-12 I was shocked! That was the best thing ever! Portals is my favorite album tbh. You're doing great Mel! Keep going!! ❤️❤️

woahh i loved how the theme was like a video game where people are trying to control your life just because you're a "celebrity" trying to tell you what you can and can't do. the "call them a bitch for being human" part really struck me. i know how much you recieved backlash for setting boundaries and i'm proud of you. continue to set those boundaries and let those people know that you're not a puppet to be toyed with.

The fact that she can go on tour, move from state to state everyday, still give concerts despite having a throat infection, releasing a whole 1-foot-statue with 4 PARFUMS inside WHILE ON TOUR, making merch, restocking the merch and parfums AND make music videos is so impressive and we all love melanie for it💗🌬️🕳️🕯️

When analyzing the clip, we can see that it is about the criticism and positive comments that her "fans" made about her appearance and her new style. Throughout the MV we notice small hearts that appear on the screen as everything progresses, as if they were stages in a game. In each heart there are different phrases that the player dictated during the game, as if he wanted to have control of the main character and do whatever he sees fit. Example: "Saying she's demonic." Many fans judged her due to her recent new look. Making unnecessary jokes and even stopping following along. "Give her long hair." After Melanie cut her hair, many fans didn't like it and again judged her for it. "Make her thin and tall." Some fans even made cruel jokes about her weight (Trying to import a standard that they thought was better.) "Make her smile all the time." Maybe this is because she no longer performs her shows without her mask. "Chase her to take a picture." Many people took photos and even went so far as to chase her to get a photograph, which made her uncomfortable. "You made me very upset." Your disappointment with the fans. In the end, the game ends after the player doesn't get what they wanted. However, you can see that the clip is about how far Melanie has gone before her career. The comments, judgments made frustrated and discouraged with their own success. We need to learn that she has her own choices, and if that makes her comfortable, we, as fans, should accept what makes her better. the clip is great, you did well Mel 🎀💗

This is a great analytical review of the video but we should remember that these songs were written long before she even released her creature appearance to us. One of my favorite thing about Melanie is the multiple ways her music can be interpreted. But I do think she often references his the fans and the industry expect so much from her and give nothing in return. Like show and tell and numbers

Tunnel vision is my most anticipated music video for portals, I had so many ideas for what it could be, and this completely blew it all away, simply stuning, so visually consistent and mature in its mesage and delivery. It really feels like the character of crybaby has grown throught the eras, this is just another perfect example of the complex and powerful way Melanie is able to deliver messages. She's trully etherial.
