@@jyl11002 another thing is, though, they're sort of shaped to accommodate each other, making them stack and hold more efficiently. If they were done individually, it wouldn't be as easy to put it together because the top of each wouldn't fit the bottom of the next.

If you were to just use a heat gun it would weld the parts together making them one. It would be harder to make it straight though. I think both methods have pros and cons

I accidentally made a multi colored crayon in a metal Altoids tin. It had pieces of crayons in it from my kids. It was with there toys. In the winter it got on top of the heat vent in the floor. I picked it up one day and opened it and there was this cool multi colored Altoids tin shaped crayon.
