Thank you so very much!! Thanks to people like you, and books like this, I feel I have a more accurate and complete understanding of the war. The answers to many of the questions I got into trouble asking as a child. Good on ya for bringing us books that help paint the whole picture. How is a society supposed to learn from the past when so many facts/truths/details/perspective are missing from schools and universities? They lie by omitting the perspectives, and by condemning every individual in the Wehrmacht/Kriegsmarine/Luftwaffe who was more than likely fighting for his cameraden, family, and country.
