About Nugget Noggin:
Hey! I'm Michael, I love to get outdoors and discover awesome things
with my metal detector. I started treasure hunting when I was 12 years
old and shortly after received my first metal detector. Since then, I've
been hooked and just love going out to search for the unknown. You
may see me in the woods crawling under an old house or diving down
in the river to search for rings. Wherever the adventure brings us, I'll try
my best to keep you entertained.

Hallelujah! To handle the gear and film it and explain what’s goin on is most awesome. Thank you Michael

Jay Basalaj Since commenting on this about 3 months ago, I have purchased a super low frequency discriminator and done some local research.. It turns out that the field behind my house was a french prisoner of war camp and there are several large burial mounds. I've found a beautiful old silver coat button and several old coins in the last few days. Yesterday I uncovered a well so hopefully lots more to discover. The farm owner is my dad's friend so I have permission that should last me some time :) I am now officially a metal detecting treasure hunter... Happy days

I have been a river diver for 8 years. Two trips to the emergency room and a case of Giardia, which is a two-year recovery. I shudder that these guys aren't wearing gloves all the time. Look for a road, water, and a bridge. I've bagged CSA buckles, guns, a shot-through Civil War canteen, bombs, etc. Wear full body 7 mm wet suit. One scratch in a stream can kill you. Get the bug, you have twenty four hours. But have fun!!!

I found a big gold class ring in the creek when I was a kid, in the 60s. I took it home and showed it to my dad and while I was out he called up the owner and he came over and got it. The owner offered me a 5$ reward but my dad says "no, he wouldn't want a reward ". 5$ to a pennyless kid in the early 60s would be like a 100 dollar bill today. He figured what belonged to me belonged to him, so he often felt free to give my shit away. Thanks dad.

Great video boys,it's a great hobby isn' it? I live in the UK and alot of the land owners are pretty strict when it comes to us hunters and we are substansialy smaller in terms of land mas so finding areas are difficult.I tend to look for old dried up rivers, alot of our hoards have been found by rivers or were thy have run in the past,i guess there were alot of land marks near rivers so relocating their treasures wouldn't be hard.Keep looking good luck.
