Nice idea to put shifts over the anthracite. Alien pearl was the most interesting one of the speed shapes. Wonder if any of those pearls would work in a satin finish over anthracite 🤔

First off, Happy Birthday! Second, the car is a solid 5/5 for me. It's such a subtle, yet eye catching shift. I also love the inclusion of the speed shapes at the end, with the RL-71 Alien Pearl being my favorite one out of this batch. I look forward to your videos on Fridays, as they are always a satisfying thing to put on during lunch at work.

Happy Birthday! 5/5 Right in the sweet spot of not too flashy and not overly subtle. I wouldn't be mad with any of the speed shape colors, but ZGL and ZBR get my votes as the best.

I love watching the part of the video where you spray the product on the car. It's cool watching the effects of the pigments start to evolve as they are sprayed over the base coat. Sometimes the cars look differently than what I was expecting in the end and that's part of the fun. I like how the colors fade into darkness on this one.

As someone who favors a more subtle look, this is definitely a 5/5 for me and the lower pigment load was absolutely the right call. I also really like the RL-71 Alien Pearl on the tester at the end, that looks fantastic as well! And before I forget, HAPPY BIRTHDAY FONZI!

That is sweet...I love how you showcase so many different color combinations... because of this channel I'm having my slingshot painted with ZBB Hypershift with a lumilor tron outline... if it wasn't for the lumilor I would've dipped it... there's definitely something to being able to change the color of my slingshot every year

Happy Birthday! Many more as well! I love this play of color. Folks that live in the Southeast will know what a Junebug is (a kind of big iridescent green beetle). That's what this reminds me of in a good way. I would really love to see ZBB over this base. As an aside I was amused by the hypershift once it was mixed in the base. It reminded me of a crystal opal.

Happy Birthday! This is gorgeous - its all about the contrasts for me, that makes this so beautiful... not sure if I was one of the ones who highlighted using anthracite , but for all those who DID - GREAT CALL/JOB!!! It is indeed, the PERFECT SHADOW GREY base coat to let all these bright hypershift colors shine. The base is all shadowy stormclouds, and the hypershifts (or pearls) are all sparkling rainbow lights... what's not to love about this? I'd give it a 4 - but my son, who is also aTaurus like you - would give it a 10 because he LOOOVVVEESS green, and this is just a gorgeous grey-green combo! Personally, my fav combo would be the last Anthracite speedshape, with the ZBR Hypershift.

6/5/ Gorgeous. 12/10 Absolutely gorgeous. Five stars. Lets the hypershift shine to its maximum potential. All the best of lights and all the best of darks. Perfection. Reminds me of my favorite nail polish that is now discontinued, a lovely shade from Cover Girl once called Midnight Forest. Fond memories of my Pontiac Grand Am in college, which should have been this color.

Fun thing about color theory, white background (or base) causes color to appear darker, black makes them lighter. Grey on the other hand (mostly the mid-tones) allows colors to shine as they are.
