A few years ago I took a chance and brought the Xiaomi Redmi Pro - I did some research but otherwise had never heard of Xiaomi. I was really impressed, lovely screen, responsive phone,decent Android overlay, fingerprint scanner, everything pretty good. So I'm not at all surprised to see Xiaomi are now challenging Samsung, good luck to them.

One thing also need to be noted is the developer support of xiaomi and they allow their devices to be unlocked and try out custom roms ... so maybe the limitation of the second screen must be solved by using a custom rom 🤷🤷

I've had a Mi Mix 2 for just over 2 years and the only problem I ever had with their software is that they forced the hidden notification icons for phones that don't have a camera in the middle.

Ceramic on the S10 Plus was almost 2x as durable as the Gorilla Glass 5 back of the S10+ It definitely gives a benefit to it.

I bought into the Huawei p20 pro hype a few years ago and ended up being really disappointed with the camera. Learned a valuable lesson that the most important thing with phone cameras is software calibration not hardware specs. I'll stick with the Samsung for sure.

For instance, I never "selfie" myself except if asked when I'm with friends (i.e. not often enough to make this a main criterion, because otherwise I haven't adhered to nowadays trendy narcissism); also, for my work (or even mere satisfaction), I'd need the cameras to render the most accurate colors that's available, especially for pictures; about the weight, since it'd sleep in my vest's inner pocket, the lighter, the better - else, on top of presenting yourself with a visible weight in your pocket and your looks, the vest itself can get deformed.
