@@FLpowerboatClub OK Stu, I admittedly was/am forever addicted to the Golden Era of Offshore Racing. Rich Luhrs (announcer) perched in copter calling the battle merely feet from pairs of APBA Superboats bouncing off their rev-limiters and waves ...The sounds were incredible.

That 50' Nor-Tech is awesome. I loved the 45 so the 50 is my new dream boat. Seems like the manufacturers just keep making these center consoles bigger and more expensive and they sell more and more. How big can they get before the are too big for a poker run? Is price the only limit to how big they will get?

Couldn't agree more! But at 50 feet it just starts getting hard to move it anywhere... too big to trailer so that will be the limit as I see it, with a few mfr exceptions. Like Cigarette with their 59 and Midnight Express with their 60'

And hell I’m sure u know, but there is sooooooooo much false information out there that its hard to know what’s true and what’s not true! Mark, Nor-Tech is not sold. Did not sell. Not going to sell. They have a new silent partner he is great guy. ( but its low key) Other than that, they are all there to stay. Trust me!

16:36 He sure ain't using it, but what's the point of a stern thruster, would understand a bow thruster in tight spaces but not this when you just can steer to move the aft. 20:50 Well not really strange considering Volvo Penta is one of the biggest marine engine suppliers in the world

Wuxter...I'm only going to point out my lame use of humor..But the 2HP Ramon Vera Stern thruster does not exist. That is the name of the guy with his feet dangling over the edge to keep the boat from rubbing on the dock:) thanks for watching!

I have a 28 ft Nordic Heat. I wish I could afford something a little bigger to handle the chop like these beauties.

Great video, but I am surprised how many crews stick their hands and feet out to fend off the dock. I’m sure that’s part of the safety briefing telling them not to fend off that way...maybe a point deduction might stave off potential injuries.

Yes sir good point. We talk up safety all the time, and the only time I permit that is when its a floating dock and the limbs are above the dock and out of harms way. On a fixed dock, we tell them to keep body board "on board" Good Eye!!

I was at a poker run this same guy staged in Maryland. It was crazy- He owns a big bar there on the water, there were girls like this running all over the place!
