The 2015 squad was great offensively, but struggled on the defensive end. I’ve only been a fan for about a decade but, this year’s much improved defense paired with their offensive talent makes them the most complete and balanced Tar Heel squad I’ve ever watched.

@willriley1619 This probably won't occur because I feel a one lose team will make it but if GA goes undefeated, Washington goes undefeated, and Michigan, OSU, or Penn St goes undefeated, that will leave either Big 12 or ACC out. This is if those conferences have a team with no loses. If OKLAHOMA doesn't lose and beats Texas again, they would have am edge on NC and probably FSU since OK beat TX and TX beat Alabama, especially if Alabama only loses to GA. Big 10 will have a team that will have beat 2 higher ranking teams in same conference. I don't believe this will happen but if everything I said did occur ACC still may get robbed of making it due to strength of schedule.

@@MegaMadDog88 Yes. Drake Maye is THAT much better than any QB (not just at Carolina, but probably in all of college football) next season. He's gonna be the first or the 2nd overall pick in the NFL draft this year, and it's not often that a wide receiver gets to play with generational talent like that.

Defense didn't play bad most the game. It was the trick and pick plays that got Miami two TD's. UNC will have to practice against that or prepare for it moving forward.
