When he faces the audience and the camera, he completely engages the audience into his real-world intimacy of his movements. It's a Jackson thing. Even Janet has the sister approach to his brother approach. There is intent in their gaze as they express their energy into the moment with all the anger and frustration they can muster or all the love and beauty. Tribute has brought some artists back to the stage. I support live music that inspires interest to the original artist in hopes it might be just enough to bring back some of the original entertainment to radio and other entertainment venue(s) because it sometimes brings with it a wonderful way to wake up people lost to the sadness of their personal history. However, original music is what is needed as well as original dance. These entertainers provided originality to their work not to later detract from the work they did. A good tribute artist will be exact with no flaws, and leave persons guessing.. "Is this Michael Jackson (re)incarnate?" Make-up, hair, and general performance: Hair and make-up: Studied more for nuances and features. Prowling moves need to be less stiff. As for the Bruno Mars portion: .. without question. Between the two performers, Bruno uses more cool, slick, and pizzaz whereas Michael uses more flare and technical dance work, and is not easily replicated except by Janet. Once again, both did a great job, and I personally hope to review future performances from both with their own set of skills, moves, and their personal signature music.
