Am I the only one returning over and over again to this concert? I love the start where he's just standing still and everybody is still yelling and crying. It is/was so sick that he can just do absolutely nothing and still make people cry and make them pass out. What a legend.. the world will never see this type of a pop star/artist/human again.

Some of you misunderstand where a lot of this performance’s power comes from. The concert has huge historical and cultural relevance. Romania was the last central/eastern Europen country to abolish communism (was the only country that had to do this violently loosing civilian lives in the process). People just 3 years earlier were forbidden to listen to such music. English was not thought in schools. The country was sealed off for decades. This concert represented true liberation, in a way, more real than the dislocation of the communist party. Michael knew the significance of what he’s done here. He inspired a whole generation to follow their dreams. The ecstasy we witness here is a whole country’s locked up emotions bursting out violently. It’s beautiful.

To see this incredible human express his gift with vulnerability and truth is something we will never see again in this lifetime. He was the dance. He was the voice. It breathed through him. He let us into his magical world when he performed. The masterful expertise. The elegance. The selflessness. It is magic in motion. He did what no one else could do. Forever grateful to you, Michael. It's crazy to think how big of an artist Michael was and still is to this day. He barely does his toaster jump and people are already fainting, and it's barely his first song and there's already people fainting. I'm almost 64 years old...watched the Jackson 5 in the 70's. My Son who is turning 40 this year, loved to watch MJ , and practiced the "Moon Walk" all the time.
