Izuku ran to save Katsuki from the Sludge Villain.. And how Katsuki basically saved Izukus life multipe times and how each episode he becomes like 0.01% nicer to Izuku. For Example: When Katsuki got kidnapped, He told Izuku to stay behind so he didn't get hurt and maybe because Katsuki knows that Izuku can come up with a plan to save him.

It’s actually quite amazing to see how far Izuku has come. At the start of the anime, he would’ve died if he tried to use as much power as he did in the final fight against Nine. It’s just nice to see that he’s gotten so much stronger :)
