The layout at the beginning of the video says it's a 60x75 bed up front. These little tiny campers fit a great niche and Jayco quality makes this a good deal at a bargain price.

As a single person I like the general layout and the true queen, but as a single 6'6" person with a wonky arthritic spine, it is a no from me. A really good camper for a young family that camps a few weekends a year and the odd couple of weeks holiday.

We have something similar with no slide. Plenty of room for family of 4 (little kids). We are former tent campers so this is glamping for us. Seriously though, if you ever want to park in beautiful campgrounds with privacy, don't get anything longer than 25 feet. Even that is a stretch. We will continue to tent camp a few times a year because some of our favorite campgrounds or sites don't allow RV at all.

I didn't want a slide in my Jayco so we went with the 264bhw. I wanted to keep it simple but yet have the extra length to make up for not having one. Also I need the headroom. I'm not exactly the shortest flower in the garden at 6.5 feet🤣.

I have this trailer now for 2 years, myn is a little different the fridge is under the sink and I have a huge pantry instead of that big fridge. The ac is on the wall above the queen bed but other than that it looks the same. We love it I even installed a 27 inch tv with a tv mount I got off Amazon and it’s a must have for rainy days where the kids can watch from the dining table or the bunks and me and the wife watch from the queen. I do agree I don’t understand why they didn’t put fans in the vents but small issue. Non the less we have had many good memories with this trailer, and it’s small so less fuel and easier to park

I was at the Seattle RV show looking at several companies making this floor plan. For me the Jayco is a decent buy except that it doesn't offer a murphy bed. I dislike the fixed queen bed only because it invites any guests to sit on your bed. I'd much rather have actual seating and am fine with less cargo capacity to support it. KZ's Escape floor plan does offer this but I don't like how they did the range and the bunk capacity requires me to lose my dad weight to use them. I think a good alternative to the TV would be a short-throw projector with some magnets in the right places of the camper to hang a projector surface on. On the fiberglass models the space between the speakers and the fridge vents could be cleared (ie move the Jay Flight branding and the kitchen exhaust) and just throw to the side of the camper.

Not to my knowledge. Those top out at 3,500lbs max as far as I know. While the empty weight of this camper might be below that mark it'll overload your vehicle once loaded. Assuming your SUV can use a weight distribution system you should be ok. The vehicle will know it’s back there but it’s all in the black

We are trying to decide between this model, in the 184bs Baja model and the wolfpup 17jg, we are a husband and wife with three boys aged 2,8,9…we’ve outgrown the sprinter van camping and need more comfort! Any thoughts on which of those models are better? Prices seem fairly similar.

I think it will be within your safe readings, but it’s going to be approaching at top limit. For more modest to terrain and shorter trips it would probably be OK. For a long distance trip or going through major elevation changes I don’t think you or the vehicle would like it

Get rid of the bunks. Give it a bigger bathroom. Bigger sink. Getting rid of the bunks makes a good place to mount a tv. 👍

Nobody buys this camper to watch tv in it (I hope). There are lots of little after-market storage things (often from the dollar store) you can add that would take the place of the drawers, and I would really rather save the money and do that myself. I do like this little camper. Interesting that it would be possible to switch over to a composting toilet after-market; I didn't even know that this kind of thing would be possible, but it would be a great idea.

That cargo capacity is beyond disappointing. 770 cargo with bunks?! The jayco engineers really botched this one. It’s like having a double cab truck with a 500lb payload capacity and advertising it to a family. Jayco needs to do better.
