And lost to all three Wish he woulda beat Floyd I thought that fight was a lot closer. The pacquiao fight he couldn’t contend with the speed his face in that fight was deformed. And against a 7-8 year younger canelo he gave a helluva fight and I bet prime cotto woulda beat canelo

@Emaratilfy
@Emaratilfy 5 років тому
Ricky Harris Well, that's just how logic is in Pactard-land. Pacquiao fought Cotto at a catch weight even though he's a true welterweight. Mayweather on the other hand let Cotto pick the weight, gloves (Mayweather wanted 8 oz, Cotto said 10 oz), and ring size. But like I said, don't argue with Pactards. Waste of internet space and valuable time.

@@Emaratilfy A catch weight? Cotto just won a title there bro. It was like a pound less then what he just won it at. So give it a rest. He fought at 145. And Mayweather is bigger then pacquiao. COTTO WAS NOT DRANIED. In fact he said he was at his best he remembered being at againt pacquiao before that fight. Especially speed wise. He was coming off two wins and just won at that weight. This drained stuff is an absolute joke. He didn't have to agree to it. The only fighter that was truly drained was DLH and that was his fault for suggesting that weight Fucking Mayweather fans are so full fo shit. So because Cotto got to choose his gloves in the Mayweather fight, it's a more impressive win? 😂😂. Pacquiao absolutely DESTROYED a prime Cotto coming off two wins. It's that simple. And Cottos pride was hurt. How did this 5'5" midget do this too me? Meanwhile he was successful againt Mayweather and looked good. So I know he's a great boxer. I know he faced them both. But excuse me if some people don't think he's full of shit. Tape don't lie. Pacquiao is at best a 140lb midget. And you're trying to tell me a 147 lb Cotto coming into a fight at 145 is drained? Lol.

Yes, he is a truly humble man. Unlike Pacquiao who is fake humble. Pacquiao is only ever "humble" in victory. Which is the easier part. When he loses, he always has a million and one excuses, ranging from ridiculous to outright lies. He also blames everyone but himself. When he wins, he talks about God. When he loses, not a single word about God. Like don't get me wrong, I'm not a bible thumping Christian. But why pretend you're this good Christian person, but you only ever speak about God and how you thank God etc when you win, but nothing about "God's will/plan" when you lose? He even fired Freddy Roach briefly after his debacle against Mayweather, where even Roach said Manny is delusional for claiming he won that fight + some issues regarding payment. Where would Pacquiao have been without Freddy Roach?

He lost the Paquiao fight because he had no corner, he beat the fuck out of his uncle who was his corner man and lifetime trainer a few months before the Paquiao fight. He's anything but wise. It's one of the reasons he wasn't all that popular with many Puerto Rican fans, and why many Puerto Ricans were cheering for ie Carlos Quintana when they fought. Because Miguel was always quiet, well mannered, respectful as opposed to loud, braggadocious and what not. He eventually won them over, but it was a struggle for sure. Cotto is a real one, very humble, unlike many others who are FAKE humble (ie Pacquiao).

Did you both watch Pac vs Cotto and May vs Cotto? And you still believe that about his claim that May was Cotto toughest opponent. Lmao Pac vs Cotto = cotto become punching, he cant punch, he has no choice but to def and run till he tko and face deformed become full like hornets sting. Pac even spared to make him sleep like how he spared Margarito. May vs Cotto = May is struggling to death and bleed by Cotto, Cotto won some rounds. May won by judges decision. So this is crystal clear that Pacquiaowas his toughest opponent he faced, he didn't even become opponent of Pacquiao, he just become running punching bag. The gap is just so great. This is not claim or opinion, its based of how he fought the 2.

There is a reason why Cotto said Floyd was the best he faced: When Cotto fought Manny you have to look at the timing. He got beat badly by Margorito who was putting plaster on his fucking hands. He had a return bout against Clottey and looked bad and many felt he lost. Then he fought Manny at a catch weight of 145 (after he already said he had trouble making weight) with a rehydration clause where he wasn't allowed to gain a certain amount of weight in 24 hrs. Then he fought Manny. When he fought Floyd he was at a weight he was comfortable. He was on a 3 fight win streak all by KO. And the third fight was against Margorito. Avenging the loss helped him mentally as well. No catch weight and said he trained his best and was 100% prepared.....and still lost. That's why he picks Floyd. Gotta keep things in context guys.

@@albertlong1633 Duh! During that time 2008 Pacquiao just recently became the WBC World Champion at 135lbs who just moved 2 weight classes against De La Hoya in 147lbs the same year and moved down to fight Hatton in 140lbs in 2009 then moved up again to fight a full pledged Welterweight Champion Cotto in a catchweight of 145lbs that same year too. With all truthfulness 2 pounds wont make any difference for Cotto no matter how you look at it, he was just so bitter because Pacquiao destroyed him in the worst beating of his life. Anyone who thinks that the catchweight was not fair for a smaller lighter 5'5 Pacquiao who just moved up and down in weight in just a year or two is either a casual fan or a full pledge hypocrite. Pacquiao is just a freak of nature which made him the G.O.A.T. and everyone should just accept it as it is.

That's the truth, I can prove it, you nor anyone else has any evidence against Pac. Floyd started the lie, nobody else ever said such a thing. @@ybe87 Another meaningless claim. Cotto fought Clottey and Miguel weighed in at 146, 1 lb. under the WW limit for that fight. 6 months later he fought Pac, Cotto weighed in at 145, the agreed weight. That means Cotto had no trouble making the weight, and it was one lb. less then his previous fight. Cotto was always a bigger man then Pac, they asked fo 145 to even the fact that Cotto was naturally bigger. Saying catchweight and nothing else is insinuating Pac had some advantage or asked for a weight that weakened Cotto. One lb. means nothing, poarticularly when Cotto had 6 months between fights to come in one lb. lighter. It's a non issue unless someone needs excuses for losing.
