It's been 20 years? The clock ticks life away.

To All of Linkin Park: Linkin Park was the soundtrack to my life during my military career. No matter how lonely I felt, no matter how destroyed I was inside, I had my Linkin Park cd's. I've struggled with deep depression because of military career, and on more than one occasion, I've tried to end my own life. Without fail, when I got home from the hospital, I'd hop in my car, turn up the subs, load all 6 CD slots with Linkin Park Albums, and I'd belt out every word and every note. It's a form a therapy for me that has saved me time and time again. When I got the news that Chester was no longer with us, it hit me harder than I thought it would. I mean, it's just a band, right? It's just another celebrity, right? These things happen and while sad, is of no consequence to me..... Right? WRONG. Your music helped me become the stronger person I am today and because of that, a part of my history died. When I read how he died, so many things became so clear to me about the music. I could understand the music even more. I listened to one of my CDs and I could not only hear the pain, I could empathize and feel it as well. How could I have been so blind to it? I finally understood that we shared the same pain. Belting out the vocals helped me realize that I'm not alone and regardless of how I may feel, I'm not the only one. I will forever be a fan of all of your music and probably everyday for the rest of my life Crawling will be just as epic of a one person concert in my car as Bohemian Rhapsody. Thank you Linkin Park for sharing your talents, being the soundtrack to so many memorable days, and for continuing to share a bit of your lives with your fans. You have helped save my life more than once, and I will forever be grateful.

I will never forget the first time I ever heard Papercut on the radio, so ling ago. Hybrid Theory and Meteora carried me through my formative years.

I hope they do the 20th anniversary special for meteora. As much as I love hybrid theory, meteora has a special in my heart. Is also the first album i heard from them.

I don't think I'll ever get over Chester’s passing. I grew up with Linkin Park being my favorite band for several years and my main introduction to music. It still hurts a little to watch this and think about those 20 years, can’t imagine how Mike, the rest of the band, and his family feel. Love you guys and will forever cherish LP ❤️

I loved how he wasn't fully ready to do the intro, shows that he really wanted to show us this as fast as possible.

I miss Chester, so so much. Linkin Park, Chester's singing, got me through so much as a teen. From my dad leaving to my mum being diagnosed with a terminal cancer. He left us the same year my mum lost her battle with cancer. It hit so hard, knowing that person who got you through so much was gone.

Throughout the video, you can really see Mike get more emotional, his energetic and excited attitude gets replaced by a more saddened and emotional tone as he reflects on how far him and his bandmates have come, and especially revisiting memories of his best friend Chester.

I will never forget the first time I heard of Linkin Park: 7th Grade, 2001. Some dude brought his boom box to school and insisted we listen to Hybrid Theory... safe to say, Limp Bizkit was relegated to second place that very afternoon.

I’ve been listening to LP since I was 6 years old. My mom never really wanted me to listen to them because of the kind of music (she just assumed they were like Slipknot and other heavy metal bands). But my love for LP was so very apparent, eventually she saw how much they mean to me. And so when Chester died, I was held up in my room speechless, confused, and depressed for days. She knew this was something I couldn’t shake off. So, she bought me an entire Linkin Park box set on Vinyl along with their posters. Although I had all their songs on my phone, a physical collection meant so much more to me. I will always love you LP ❤️ you guys have gotten me and millions of other people through their insecurities and depression. You will forever be the greatest band of all time ❤️

It's so nice that they still do all that stuff like premium editions or in general being active on UKposts and Instagram, even though they probably aren't going to release new music soon. They really still care about their fans and you can see that.

As a fan was so proud to have some awesome albums to listen to and cherish the memories of all the concerts I attend. This box set is a piece of a legend history.

Born in '06. Linkin Park was the first band I've ever listened to. Numb was the first song I learned without a lyric video and I finally got the Meteora CD for my birthday this summer. Love the band. R.I.P Chester Bennington.

I didnt recently start getting the meaning and pure feeling of the lyrics of Linkin Park until a couple months ago, and it changed my whole perspective on listening to them, but in a good way =)

It may be 2 years too late for the 20th Anniversary but I got this yesterday for an early Christmas present and it is absolutely incredible to own. Amazing work and amazing job Mike. Will always love you all and your music. =) You can tell when he sees that first image of Chester he gets choked up. I cannot imagine since he's know him ~20 years before Linkin Park was their name.

I can feel Mike's emotions when he looked the old pictures of the band. I can feel he contained his pain or nostalgia.

I just got mine today. I just stopped and thought for a moment about how important Hybrid Theory was for me. At the beginning of 2000, a lot of bad things happened in my family and I bought this record. It was the therapy that I didn't feel I needed. It was sort of a place to hide from the world, where there was just me, my cd player, and this record playing in a loop. I just want to say thank you for all of these interactions that you guys do with the LP community.

I feel like Mike Shinoda gave Chester a power for living and making music, because he is so invested it it. And because Chester was suffering from this severe depresions which were taking over him. But Mike was giving him a purpose through the music they were doing together.

While the music rarities and demos are and will be most hyped, I honestly can't wait to see the Projekt Revolution sequel to Pankake Fest. XD Esp considering the 'Making of' doc aren't a thing anymore in music, this is as close as we get to relive those times again.

That Frgt/10 instrumental still goes so hard. All of Reanimation man, one of the most formative albums I've ever heard.

Dear Mike, Chester, Phoenix, Brad, Joe, and Rob, I grew up with you guys. I love your creativity, evolution, and artistry. Imagine a ten-year-old kid hearing a sound so futuristic that I wanted to have all of your albums and art. However, my first cassette tape was Meteora. I hope to get the deluxe set soon (I dunno how soon is that) but I will always be here streaming, supporting, and encouraging people to listen to you guys. This was the first album I ever got, the street soldier was the first tattoo I ever got. I can’t help but cry when I see these videos. Tears of joy, knowing this album saved my life and countless other lives. Thank you Chester, Thank you Mike, Thank you LP, Thank you to the community. I wouldn’t be here, or the person I am if it wasn’t for you guys.

Such an iconic album. It was worthy of a special edition re-release. In my humble opinion this was Linkin Park at their best. I’m not even talking about just the album. All the B-sides and demos and unreleased songs of them from this era is music that has stood the test of time and can be played today. Even reanimation. God I feel old. I was just a kid when this music came out. And now here I am almost touching 30. Yet I still find myself enjoying /listening to hybrid theory as of its still 2001. Goddamn does time fly. RIP Chester. Hoping these guys to recover from the loss and continue to make music. Or atleast continue to release all the unheard music they have stashed away throughout the years.
