I think Mike talks about how people are connected to their past and history. To be successful you must study your past but understand the past successes of the successful. Notice how he mentions that to be successful you can't really expect to do right by morality. Think about that for a second? He explains that a lot of his success happened because he colored outside the lines.

It's very sweet what Cus did for Mike. If you've heard Mike talk much in the past, you'll know he pretty much thinks himself ugly, but often has a bit of a big ego in other areas, so Cus bolsters his self esteem about his looks and makes him humble in other areas, to try and put him on an even keel, this shows a lot of love and an insightful mind.

It’s absolutely amazing to be able to witness how someone who was as wild and feared as Mike, evolve into one of the greatest, most humble and openly honest people of our time. Mike truly has no idea the amount of people that he inspires, by being so honest about his life story. Not to mention, his sense of humor is freaking HILARIOUS!!

I love how much he loves and respects his wife. Every interview I've watched, he speaks of his wife several times. He admires her and she's stuck by him through thick and thin. I think she was instrumental in helping him turn his life around. It's wonderful to see that he now knows real love in his life, and has.someone he knows he can count on.

No fluff or sugar coated bullshit, just straight, raw, honesty from the heart. Cus D’Amato remained alive by the time he was arrested, he wouldn’t have been connected with Don King & he would’ve beaten Evander Holyfield and the other rising stars. But today I have the utmost respect for him and the way he's turned his life around! Mike is very intelligent and a beautiful human being! I've subscribed to his podcast and you really learn a lot. I love how he loves his wife and family! I'm so happy he found a woman that understands him, loved him for him and has stuck with him through thick and thin.
