Mike is so honest. Mike's power came from generating power from his insane base and excellent technique to explode. Foreman would just casually walk up and wing a punch that would ice any opponent just using his upper body without digging in with his legs.
@calebfuller4713Рік тому
Mike did have exceptional genetic musculature which definitely helped him, but he combined it with perfect technique to maximize speed and power. Any martial artist from any style would do well to watch him in motion and learn.
@kjb6637Рік тому
Very reductive and casual interpretation of George foreman’s technique. Describing one of the greatest heavyweights of all time as a man who “wings punches” is mad disrespectful. Edit: everyone replying “how is it disrespectful, he’s saying foreman does it without trying”. Firstly: Foreman definitely was trying - if you think he wasn’t, you obviously don’t know much about boxing. It’s just his style - a bit like Joe Joyce (but obviously much more destructive). He trained very hard for his fights and repeatedly says in interviews which fights he found hard - fights where he applied the same “not-trying” style. Secondly, OP wasn’t saying “he knocks people out without trying he’s that good”, he said verbatim “using his upper body without digging in with his legs”. He’s describing Foreman as having poor technique which is 1) untrue and 2) disrespectful.
