Don’t know much about his dirty tactics but I must say, he does impress me with how confidently he’ll continue to get in close and rush his opponent. Dudes typically built like him would like to sit on the outside and either counter punch, throw flurry punches, or move slickly and throw long ranges punches most of the time. To be fair though, there also was George Foreman who had a very large and long build (granted he was built like a tank) and still would easily club it out with aggressive fighters.

Can't really help. Tyson throws punches lunging forward, and Holyfield comes with head first to duck those shots. Holyfield kept doing it because he never got a point deducted or warned by ref. According to your logic, so as not to allow the clinch, Tyson should be fighting on his heels, moving backward as Holyfield comes forward to clinch. It does not really make sense for a boxer with shorter reach trying to stay outward and box his opponent. It's like Joe Frazier trying to out-box Ali. James Toney could do it, but not Mike Tyson.

Well Tyson was older . Iron mike developed really fast and strong at a very young age, and when cus died something in Mike's boxing style changed . Then the snake that finally put the final nail in Mike's coffin don king a (convicted murderer) back in the 1950s , bought his way out of the minor infraction . Yes, it's a fact that he won twice, but he won twice with all those fouls without being penalized. I'm not even talking about 'the prime' Mike Tyson like others do. Holyfield fans seem to refuse to accept he played dirty . He was amazing in cruiser weight, no doubt. Since he moved to the heavyweight, he used all those dirty techniques to exploit advantages against bigger opponents. You can say he was good in a way because he was never deducted a single point throughout his career.
