This hits for sure. At 42, my second husband ghosted my son and myself in the middle of the night. He took every dime, which was a big deal as I am disabled. My son and I were essentially homeless, couch surfing for a year and a half. Him leaving was the best thing (in the long run) to have happened in order for me to be a whole person and develop my self worth. This song has a 48-year-old goth lady, becoming a Miley fan.
