Bruh Mark Robson and MERYL STREEP were by her side when she won the award. The song was so good she was dancing around the crowd with Billie and Olivia to get to the stage. Her speech was powerful and inspiring and hilarious. She EARNED that award but also knew it meant nothing. She earned her moment tho. What a queen.

She also caused damage and disrespect to the Black community and culture by using hip hop with very oddly sexual antics on stage in Bantu knots and bragging about drugs for years before she publicly dissed the whole scene to switch images. I get she was going through stuff but she was still an adult and it’s good to remember all of her career and not just the parts that make her seem good for a Grammy, otherwise the affected culture has it done to us again and again before a white star moves on to be marketable. I’m happy for her and how she’s evolved but she also never apologized and I think it’s fair to let her own all of her history. So no negativity intended, just can’t mention what she’s been through without context to recognize she wasn’t harmless.

I am so beyond happy and proud of Miley. For us Miley fans, we've known for over a decade how talented and amazing she is. She's been deserving of all this praise and accolades for years. But a lot of people still looked down on her. She's worked extremely hard to finally get to this place where everyone can see her undeniable talent and awesome personality. Unless you have done many great things to help people less well off. Or you have influenced future artists, etc, with your talents. Many things matter, actually. But I do agree, awards don't count for REAL talent. Because MANY talented people don't always win awards.
