It is also important never to point towards the animal because they can become blind even if you don't point in the face the light could be too hard on the eyes. But besides above mentioned and this, laser pointers are completely safe to use ^^

You are so right. Every time a high energy dog is in a movie or TV show, everyone wants one. Like Jack Russells, Dalmatians, and soon to come Belgian Malinois. They forget that the ones in movies and TV shows are very well trained by experienced professionals. I've had Jack Russells for 25 years. They're large dogs in small dog suits. They were bred to go into fox holes after foxes and to kill rats. They have a very high prey drive as well as very high energy. They quiet down when they're 14 or 15. They're also very loud. They're a good example of what happens when people think a small dog is automatically cute and cuddly so they get one. A lot of them ended up in rescues for this reason. I used to take them for 5 mile hikes and after a nap, they were ready to go again. My first JRT also knew revenge. If he felt that he didn't get enough attention he'd pee on the door through which you left or open and destroy whatever was in the kitchen cabinets. High energy dogs are not for the faint hearted.

I was playing with my dog nephew back when they let him have lasers...he would get so excited/frustrated that he'd cry and once he did a big dump right on the floor after getting so worked up over it. No more laser toys for him.

Yes, the last two months were pretty eventful for the MilkyBokiTan household! It could've been that as well which might've added up and caused Milky's incident. I do hope they don't stop with the laser pointers though - all the three furbabies seemed to like it, even Boki, who doesn't usually get this excited 😂☺️

I didnt really think of this but now bh I also feel like it was the fluctuations in the house that might have caused Milkys incident. The addition of Yusols family, then getting close to Yusol, then Yusol leaving, and then on this particular day Small Bro didnt play with him by hand for two days in a row and he could feel small bros exhaustion. Then playing with a toy he rarely plays with(the lazer) which might lead to frustration. In general a lot of ups and downs that might have just accumulated.

Any time a pet pees in an unusual place you always have to consider the possibility of a health issue or urinary problem. Its the only way they have of telling you that something is wrong. If it happens a second time please consult your veterinarian.
