Pretty sure it wont work. They dont have ANY loot, because it's programmed to be empty. Everytime you open a chest generated, the LOOT generates, and since its made to be empty and no loot i think it shouldn't work.

If it was low on durability, he can use diamonds to make the durability higher.

You need to wear at least one piece of gold armor for the Piglins to not be mad at you, but golden armor is the least durable, and even then, the Piglin Brutes are always hostile. And then you have to get the disc in the chests, but if you open a chest or break a chest, the Piglins will become hostile towards you. And not to mention that you can only get it in the Nether, which has lava, fire, and things that want to kill you everywhere. So, therefore, Pigstep may not be the rarest to get, but it is the most dangerous to get, making it the most valuable.
