Actually I tried the modpack with a 1050ti, 10 GB RAM and VSync off and got an average of 70+ fps. Granted it takes like 5 minutes to create a new world, but it uses WAY less RAM than you think.

MC counts addons, complex mods can have multiple game changing mechanics under one mod name

You are dense one, arent ya ? Mod=modification to the code. You can take out any entity from each mod, and name it modification, therefore mod. Thats what minecraft recognizes and any complex mod pack with 20+ mods can EASILY display that 8-10k mods were made
