ngl, I miss the old Hide or Hunts when they came out with multiple episodes for one game. You could feel the tenseness of the game and all its high points. These new hide or hunts just seem like highlights that lose the feelings the game brought before. These do have good editing, but I wish less was cut out.

A last laugh trap could be placing a observer below your beacon, and connecting it to double piston extenders. So when a person breaks your beacon, the floor will give out under them, and drop them to their deaths. x

Swamp tree bases are always gonna win in my opinion, they are always too op, that's why I do them while playing with my friends XD

Next base Idea Make a bass under a flat surface dig down as far as you can make a room at the bottom (6*6), if people dig to you they'll fall down and die from fall damage I've noticed you never dig straight above someone, you always dig from the side down and then dig inwards to the base so to stop people doing that to you make a 6*6 square so digging a few blocks out will still get a few kills To stop people using water have lave in the walls six blocks up and mine out the wall releasing the lava over the water and covering your base in cobble stone, obviously people will try to stop the lava source so have a few buckets ready 10 blocks up as once they reach the floor you can put lava on top of them (just make sure you trap the water they used to travel down with) It may be a bit complicated but if you are teamed up with someone it'll be easier to pull off The only downside is that you'll need at least one of you there to make sure if anyone comes (who have die in your base) they will try and seek in for this I recommend a tactical block placement of the beacon Have the beacon in the corner high up so if someone looks down into the fall pit they can't see the beacon People will dig tunnels to the beacon so If is indeed allowed make a room with the beacon in the middle 1 block up from the floor and surround it in obsidian meaning only people with a diamond pickaxe can reach the beacon and you'll be able to stop them before they get to the beacon (idk if that is against the rules to cover the beacon in obsidian but if you want to make sure people can't go below you dig down bedrock in the corner of the map that way you know people can't come from behind the base and dig out a tunnel at a very low level and use that to get in and out of your base make sure the tunnel exit is far from your base and make sure you cover it up with stone at towards the end and hide the exit if possible Or just do whatever

I would like to recommend a base for you ;) Collect obsidian and make a base. Cover your beacon with obsidian. Or collect an ender pearl and pearl out of the boundaries! and make a base there :) No one can ever find your beacon there.
