You design it in blender and export it to a program that turns it into minecraft blocks, then use world edit.

@@elite4149they do, you can just replace or remove certain block in the games with commands and then insert terrain back in, the big structures usually get made by placing outlines and then manually building the details

Yeah. Buts it's generally easier due to mods like World Edit or Axiom. Still quite a feat though.

The hardest part about this is just knowing where to start your buildings and then actually dedicating the time it took to do it. Building and making buildings look good or landscapes look good is not hard. You just play around and put stuff in different spots til it looks realistic and good. Like I said it’s mostly impressive because of the time he spent to do it.
