This needs an update so badly

Things we need in an end update: 1. New structures and loot spawns 2. New biomes with different mob types 3. New hostile and friendly mobs 4. A new boss(es) 5. An end update to exist

As someone who's a big fan of nature documenteries, you guys nailed it, keeping the vibe of most normal ones while adding a special minecraft spin on the genre. This is awesome.

Hopefully this means we are getting an update to The End very soon!! 🔥🔥

1.22 END UPDATE!!! -biomes: endstone cliffs/ scattered islands, void, endwood/ voidwood forests with new plants, in a mangrove/ acacia tree shape -ores: definitely enderite, but not as an upgrade but as an alternative to netherite from diamond -items: equippables, they don’t have to be full sets, like an elytra modifier or some sort of boots with slow falling or shulker bullet resistance just like turtle helmets with water breathing

Interesting bits of lore from this video: 1. The End is “a land disconnected from space and time” 2. End Cities and End Ships are complex and apparently built for great use, but are left quiet and still in this nearly dead world 3. This barren environment is a perfect habitat for the water-hating Endermen 4. The Ender Dragon is a tyrant and is protecting something, apparently the portal, and it needs to stay near the End Crystals to survive, while the Endermen are opposed to the Dragon

'What else is there to explore in the Great Wild?' Since he already discussed basically everything in the End, and then poses this question to us, I am very hopeful that this is inferring on an End Update. I don't understand why Mojang hasn't done this yet, this will most likely be as popular as the Nether Update.

Judging by this video, the “mysterious” Ancient City portal, and the upcoming 15 year anniversary of Minecraft, it seems pretty obvious to me that an End Update has been in the works for a long time.

The end update will be the most anticipated update since the nether update, mojang/minecraft will gain so much traction and popularity I don’t understand why we don’t have it yet.

I think many people miss the whole point of the end being desolate and lonely, and I see many suggestions to give it lush biomes full of life which wouldn't exactly fit the end. However I hope if this DOES mean an end update is coming they still keep the desolate and lonely vibe of the end whilst still giving it more content and points of interests to explore Edit: To put this in perspective for those in the comments who seem confused, think about the deep dark (not the actual dangers of the deep dark like the warden but the biome and ancient cities themselves). The atmosphere of the deep dark is very lonely and sad. We see no natural mobs, but sculk everywhere. Often times we stumble upon an ancient city which is a mysterious structure that offers dangerous but also loot. The end has a similar vibe (no mobs except the lonely enderman, everything is void and endstone, a few end cities with big dangers but big loot) however what is missing is variety. Every end island is the same, the terrain is the same, the cities are the only structure, there isnt anything very interesting. This is what we need for the end, not lushes biomes.

This video is just steaming with sarcasm. There is 1000% gonna be an update. 1. The dragon behavior will probably change. He can sit? 2. (Tons to explore) yeah nah. Only 3 places. So this means more biomes. 3. More structures 4. Enderman have more purpose than just dropping eyes? 5. A variety of growables? This is definitely a teaser for something bigger. They’ve been talking at mojang.

It would be nice to have an end update I know the end is meant to be lovely and desolate but look at what they’ve done with Minecraft dungeons! They can easily make the end more lively! Just gotta wait!

the entire dimension has so little content that they can explain it all in a 4 minute video

If this becomes the next major update, this will be absolutely revolutionary to the game. It would likely be at the scale of not greater than the Nether. I very well believe that if the devs go all out and not hold back on any fears as long as they communicate well with the community the updated end can be very much welcomed by everyone!

I like how this implies, that before the player enters the End, the Ender Dragon really is just perpetually flying in circles and annoys endermen, that try to fight them but fail constantly

Interesting new bit of lore about the Ender Dragon literally surviving solely by the power of the End Crystals, and how it would perish if it were to stop moving. Also, that moving bit is actually the exact same thing with real-life fish: They need to constantly move to keep their oxygen flow pumping. Just gonna point that out. Not often we get official Minecraft lore, so I personally love that they did this. THANK YOU, MOJANG! ❤️

Caves and Cliffs gave me hope that Minecraft *can* do what the community asks for, which is why I'm still waiting for The End Update

The End Dimension needs a major update, which can amaze everyone and come back to playing Minecraft

Hey mojang, you might not read this. But, i wanted to express my love to y'all guys, because as a software developer myseft, i know how hard sometimes can be when people expect big things from you that seem easy but are a great challenge. I've been playing minecraft since 2014 and it's been a great time. Thanks to a game well made I have a ton amazing memories with my friends and sister. Keep doing things at your peace, some of us are aware of the effort all mojang devs put onto all the games. Love to all

I hope the end gets an update cous this is giving me hope... And it's better to keep hope because according to mojang they won't add a new dimension unless they update all existing dimensions. Nether already got updated very brilliantly and they did an awesome job. The overworld got a massive haul.. Big mountains, deeper and more complex caves, improved rivers and new awesome biomes so mojang did an awesome job here too.. But all of this means that in Theory next update should be the end update... Hopefully..

Since the main purpose of the End is to act as the final battle for combatants, I wouldn’t be surprised if this combat Update added something new to the end. I mean, we got updated End Credits when exiting, but that’s technical, not playable.

And with this I can say we will may have a end update for the end biome
