Подошёл к столу с пестрящими надписями на кассетных коробках разложенных штабелями. Я поздоровался с продавцом и уже хотел спросить, есть ли у него... этот, как его, блять, забыл... Продавец, парень лет 20-ти оживился и привстал. - Что ищем? Спросил парень. - Не помню название. Отвечаю я, и начинаю изучать надписи на кассетах. Парень оценил меня взглядом, мы с ним практически одного возраста. Он стал спрашивать.. - Рок? Тяжёлый? Русский? Буржуйский? Мотаю отрицательно головой. - Панк? Продолжаю отрицательно мотать головой. - Рэп? Та же реакция. Парень начинает терять интерес. Немного подозрительно спрашивает. - Шансон, блатняк? - Нет. Тогда парень с отвращением задал последний вопрос. - Попса чтоль? - Не, не попса точно. Я наверное в следующий раз приду, когда вспомню и точно буду знать название. Сказал я и пошёл дальше. Черт возьми, думал я, ни названия не помню, ни стиль музыки не знаю. Конфуз однако. Через пару тройку месяцев я конечно вспомнил и купил таки кассету с Moby. И до сих пор считаю его классным исполнителем. А когда слышу его песни, иногда вспоминаю лицо продавца полное отвращения и вопрос - попса чтоль?

I remember hearing moby's song been played and instantly had to find the artist and title of this song I'm hearing. After a couple of weeks I purchased Moby play the album with the song that brought moby to my attention number 4 on his album- why does my heart feel so bad. The year was 1999 and I still have that CD followed by his next release moby 18 another amazing album from moby. Between Robert miles dreamland 1996 then moby play 1999 and moby 18 they were first 3 cd's in my 10 stacker cd player in my car. Still have the cd's along with approximately 2000 other cd's from oprah to hard core techno and various ethnic music from different countries.
