Invisibility will not do much since your armor is still visible.

It's too op having effetcs while wearing only one piece of armor, but if you have the complete set could work pretty well .

I think an effect can work ONLY if you has the same effects on all the armor. I think too, it's OP but something like it can be nice :)

Does trimming work on every armor? If it does, how would it look like if it was on chain armor or turtle shell?

Someone probably already said this but having the full invisibility set should make your person AND the armor invisible

This would make endgame pvp so boring, no fight would end cuz everyone would be invincible. Buffs like that need to be temporary or restrained by some other metric like the beacon. I just hope that this isn't the first glimpse into minecraft's plunge into the video game cosmetics pipeline.
