The thing that really fucked me up about her death was the fact that she was obviously feeling the pain and knew she was probably going to die but she was MORE terrified of this new mysterious "He" and what "he" was going to do to her. That immediately gave this new character a horrifying reputation especially when he was basically right there to grab her once she was dead without wasting time which to me makes me think he had been watching this whole thing just WAITING for her to die. (Edit 2024: Just so people arent confused anymore, I AM up to date with these games and am well aware that the "He" is the prototype now, thanks lol)

Mommy Long Legs just staring you down as she begins counting down was honestly horrifying. The higher ups of this company may be assholes but damn do they know how to make a good horror game.

The thing that disturbed me the most about the death scene was the fact that when Mommy Long Legs' torso got caught in the crusher, blood came off of it. It makes me wonder if there was actually a bit of human in that plastic casing.

What's darkest to me is how she almost manages to escape by ripping her arm off but then gets her leg caught in the process. Imagine freeing yourself from death and then immediately becoming trapped again in panic.

4:05 A lot of people were scared that Mommy Long Legs was going to turn on the incinerator to burn us alive but she can't possibly do that because she doesn't have the green hand.

Little thing I noticed: At 0:18 her right hand looks normal at first, but when mommy starts getting more twisted her fingers extend. Nice detail.

Part of me thinks we’re going to die here no matter what. So we might as well stop whatever bad things are happening here as Poppy says. Whoever our character is, isn’t relevant it seems. I don’t think Poppy sees us as a tool or something like that, she just needs our help to fix everything (although she could tone down the creepiness a little-). Just like a death screen said: *”This isn’t about you.”* *”Get up.”*

The voice acting and animation on this is admittedly very impressive. Puts a lot of other projects to shame.

Love how after she says seek her eyes and hair change, which is a good way of showing off an angry horror game antagonist (it also sounds like she is going insane)

notice how she always refers to herself as "mommy" but in the boss fight she refers to herself as "I" which just shows she is actually mad

After seeing the way she acted here, it is hard to believe that, according to the games lore, that she was basically a mom gor the orphaned kids experimented on, and had such a passion for raising them to the point where children were the only thing keeping her sane, and she would act in anyway but like this.

I love how at 5:46 she turns her head to the grinder like "wait what the hell" and then she just gets her lower half decimated. Damn that honestly was one of the most gruesome deaths I've ever seen man I honestly felt bad for her having to die that way but she was insane as hell so I don't feel too much sympathy but I feel a little.

One of the scariest things about this game is that every time you think you're about to get chased down, nothing happens. It's only until you let your guard down when they strike.

i think what disturbed me the most about her death was when she said “don’t make me part of him”, as mommy long legs could possibly be referring to the prototype, exp 1006, and don’t make me part of him is quite a vague description, part of him? what does he do with the remaining parts of a dead toy?! can’t wait for future chapters to find out more.

Dear god and here I thought that the Huggy Wuggy chase was terrifying! A full on chase in a sewer system with Mommy's hands emerging from the different pipes?! THIS IS NIGHTMARE FUEL.

They skipped level 5 for musical memory, and went out of bounds during statues. Mommy wasn’t wrong and all, but she really tried to get us killed by MAKING the mini-games almost impossible. The voice actor for Mommy deserves 10 raises by next week.

Everybody do be giving credit to the creators and voice actors/actresses, but y'all don't understand how good the video game composer made the music sounding so wrong but still making sense to your ears that it gives you chills, he could've went for something like a very dark cinematic but instead went for a more disturbing style which honestly is very risky if you're not creative, so great job on the music side.

4:53 lmao this is the sound when i stretch and yawn at the same time but lower pitched

Thought this was curious and so I think it's worth mentioning. When Mommy jumps down from the ceiling she's pretty upset at us. But after a couple seconds her eyes dilate and she takes on this strange serenity. She stops jittering, her movements become very slow and methodical. And until she's literally caught in a grinder, she also doesn't say a single word beyond that point despite being so passionate beforehand. Huggy Wuggy was exactly the same. I've always found it weird that we meet Huggy at the start of Chapter 1 and he doesn't attack us on sight. It's quite obviously the same one that does later since he goes missing after a while, so why isn't he moving then? I can't imagine he'd pretend to be inanimate for no reason. Maybe after meeting him he experienced a mental break or disillusive realization similar to Mommy here? I don't have a theory, a hypothesis would be more accurate... Just thought the parallels were interesting.

I never thought Mommy Long Legs could be scarier than Huggy but that moment where her pupils dilate just... Dang

Whoever voiced Mommy Long Legs deserves a raise after that performance.

I noticed something: Every time there is a chase scene in a chapter the monster's become more psychotic and lose all sense of "humanity" in them then they begin to pursue you and they go on a bloodlust Huggy Wuggy's teeth coming out Mommy long leg's eyes becoming dilated it's something that makes them snap and truly become "monsters".

For all the drama surrounding this game The game itself is so far really good Seriously the expressions and animation is jaw dropping Especially with mommy long legs Her body movement and facial expression are next level And they know how to make the game genuinely scary

I kinda feel like our character isn't meant to escape, but to uncover what's been happening here. Poppy isn't being malicious in keeping us here, because like in the death screens "This isn't about you."

I got a feeling this series is far from over. But several things have stood out. 1 nobody knows the name or identity of the former employee who returned to the factory, 2 it is not known what happened to the other former employees, 3 nobody can explain why huggy, poppy, and mommy long legs are alive, 4 and probably the most important, when mommy long legs was near death she said “you’ll make me apart of him” him who?, remains to be seen. Or is poppy, the one who’s the center of all evil and the one who is controlling all of this. Will these be answered in part 3?, if there is a part 3?, we’ll just have to wait

That death must of been terrifying for her seeing as she was human before being experimented on so underneath all the plastic would be bones blood and other organs all being slowly crushed. That’s why this death is so scary because you don’t die quickly it’s slow and painful and the more you struggle the more entangled you become.

I like how this game really plays well with liminal space. The idea of being in transition to an area that feels like it should be something but isn’t. The long hallways with broken down infrastructure gives the idea that something isn’t right. What makes it better is that the monsters within the game are terrifying creations. A small problem I have with the backrooms is that the monster looks very stick figure ish, but the screams it makes makes it up for it. But here, the monsters are terrifying even to look at.

It's so funny how she laughs the whole time then when she gets trapped, she begs for mercy saying "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME" who's laughing now? 🤣

I honestly feel bad for Mommy Long Legs. Even though she threatened us and scared the absolute daylights out of us, all she wanted was to watch us play the games, since she didn't have any other children to keep her calm. She wasn't maliciously chasing us down just to kill us, like Huggy Wuggy, but she ended up doing so when we cheated out of the Statue Game. And yes she wanted us dead at the end of the Statue Game, but the way she speaks to us and how hostile she is to us, it sounds like the character had some impact in the shut down of the Factory that ended up with Mommy Long Leg's anger and insanity.

Something I noticed is that when mommy is dying she says “what have u done!! He’ll make me part of him! U can’t do this to me!” This could be eluding to 1006 using her to make his body and make her part of him which I think is our first clue to what 1006 is gonna be which I rly like.

I remember when I was younger playing hide and seek, whenever the seeker would say ‘one’ I would stay behind them and wait until like 8 to run. Something about a monster trying to kill you doing that to let you run/hide is so unsettling. Probably due to the fact that she is literally letting you have a head start, which literally shows you are doomed. When I played this and she started counting down, a shiver legit went down my spine and I panicked and forgot that stairs were there to walk down and I was at the bottom when she got to 2 ._. Props to the voice actor for being able to make that devastating scream during her death. I would never be able to do that in my dreams bro. I’m also interested in knowing who ‘he’ is. Perhaps a mega-monster who is the cause of everything. The closing, the fact that all the other ‘monsters’ are evil. Maybe ‘he’ is threatening MML or Huggy Wuggy to kill the player so the player doesn’t find ‘him’. And as a punishment of death, make MML part of him. Maybe MML just wanted to survive and NOT be part of ‘him’. Maybe ‘he’ gets more and more powerful whenever we kill a toy and we have a massive boss fight at the end of the series where he keeps releasing toys that the player keeps killing to make ‘him’ more powerful to be able to kill the player. But that’s all a theory 🤷‍♀️ Not making any promises and oml, if you actually read the whole comment then I salute you.

In case you don't know how mommy long legs just takes her hand out of the machine in a second it's because of her design, if you look closely her arm and legs are designed to be stretched to a certain extent and i think depending on how much she stretches lees strenght she will have because she need strenght in al her body

I think "Him" is the last boss in the final chapter in Poppy Playtime.... I think everyone thinks the same. I wonder what's his voice sound like, and his mechanics, also i want to see its model with the other big bosses parts attached to "Him"
