I totally understand why. I am Slovak, but feel the same

i’m Russian American, both of my parents were born in Russia but lived in US from an early age. Still though, to them and all of my family Russia is a gorgeous gem. I went to school in Russia, specifically in Siberia, for 7 years and I have never felt so free and alive before. All of my Russian friends in US only talk about their next visits to Russia, and so do I. And now while going to an American HS i’m just shocked by the education system, it’s so dumb. When people in Russia tell me they hate it there ,I feel like throwing up

It is an okay place but it is filled with high rised building, and we cannot build them properly and they look disgusting. Russua is transforming back to building good architecture, like in moscow they are getting rid of soviet building and they are bulding more russian buidling

@@_quit_2507 No, I don't think that Moscow is the best of Russia. Southern cities are much better. Especially, Sochi and Kislovodsk. Clean, warm and green cities. And if to compare Moscow with big Russian cities, St Petersburg and Kazan win. Because of countless fires architecture of Moscow is too diverse. I believe it is disadvantage. While St Petersburg and Kazan saved most of their historical centre.
