If this car was $12000, it would be a great commuter car. At $18000 just buy a civic, mazda 3, vw golf.

I'd have to agree. You could buy a scooter for far less or another reliable car for about the same. "Smart" could have been smarter.

Yea, and what does the front bumper of a semi-truck look like in rear view mirror ? No way I'd want one of these, more a toy than practical car, a Vespa might have more carrying capacity

Anybody who's dumb enough to drive these on the highway deserves to be scared off the road by a semi bumper. These aren't meant for interstate highway travel. These are primarily suburban and city cars.

This car makes sense if you live in a large city and drive mostly in a downtown area, other than that... nope. These look like toys on American highways.

$18,000 for 1/3 of a car?! What the hell, you'd have to be crazy to buy one of these! I'll stick with my SUV and actually survive if I'm involved in an accident, thank you.
