Why I love NRF-PPK2! a new affordable kit to measure very small currents

День томуI recently discovered this kit (Power Profiler Kit II) by Nordic Semiconductor to measure very low uA currents for my battery based sensors. It comes in a very attractive price point. In this video, I will set it up and do a quick demo on a PIR sensor.

To check the accuracy, simply add a resistor between VOUT and GND. Apply for example 3V over a 10k resistor, and see what you get ;)

Yeah but you need a precision voltmeter to verify voltage and to verify resistance tolerance. Voltage and resistance have to be almost absolute for the current measurement to be as good.

@@wlgrd7052 I guess I'm saying it's good to know the error tolerance of the voltage and resistance so that the error of the current measurement can be known.

With PPK2, when using as an ammeter mode, am I correct to assume it would act as a multimeter/current meter? Where I could measure the inline current of a wire at any point of the circuit as long as the wires will be connected in series in Vin / Vout of the PPK2? I plan to measure and test a few signal currents coming in / out of an IC.
