It's 1000$ or 1 Year in jail. So yes, there is 1000$ about it. The difference between any normal earner and a rich guy is huge however: It may deter any of us from doing it because 1000$ is a lot. If you're actually rich however 1000$ is less than a cent that fell into a gully, primarily because you earn them back pretty much instantly without even having to get up from your chair, let alone move a single muscle.

I think removal from the courtroom for misbehaving in court will happen. Probably put in an adjacent room. I think 2 warnings and the third incidence that judge will put him in jail(3 days or so).

Judge Merchan, the Judge Inquisitor seems to be doing a great job at breaking down that wall that looks so impermeable, the wall T**** relies on to intimidate. You can imagine his confidence is being broken down. The judge seems to point out things he needs to mind, the good judge is telling him, he needs to follow rules, it's getting to him. He can't get out of there.

I think Conway’s suggestion for clearly telegraphed incremental jail time (starting with 2 hours) is exactly the right approach to take. If people see that Trump is being given multiple opportunities to avoid spending much time in jail, but his actions keep increasing the penalty, then it’s clearer to people that Trump’s problem is his inability to follow rules.

Yes. Just give him an exponential increasing amount until he is earning a week in jail a couple of times, then give him the full 30 days with a final warning that another violation will cause the same amount. He'll spend most of the trial in jail. The real advantage will be for the other trials where the judges can point to this one and how he had to be controlled in this one with jail time to have the gag order enforce, so that they can bring the hammer down on him immediately when he tries the same game in their courtrooms.

In another video they interviewed a former judge that said if she were the judge in this trial, she would sentence him to jail time for contempt to be served after the trial. That way, he gets the message, but doesn't delay the trial.

That's Susan Glasser from The New Yorker and she's an incredible writer and journalist. I think you are reacting to the images without knowledge (no offense meant, truly) because Susan is NOT part of the problem, she's part of the conversation. This is a dynamic conversation. I agree with George and Molly and hope the judge does throw him in jail. Susan is skeptical because she mostly writes about Putin. I monitor Trump boards and they hate this case, it's too sordid so I don't think they'll defend him in the J6 way.

He also was involved somehow in Checks and Balances, an organization related to Trump's choices for Federal Court appointments, something that makes my ears perk up. Yet, with all this, how does he get to be a commentator on MSNBC. Makes me want to steer away from this channel.

The Clinton's embesleved money through the Clinton foundation, made up the Russian collusion story and even had political opponents murdered. Hillary had the external email server. Mr. Conway's opinions are always grounded and that's good because he brings everyone in the group back down to their chairs. Same with Tim Heaphy, like they're there as a reset button when guests start flying off pushing their opinions, this happens a lot in other with guests from opposite sides of the spectrum, one pushes xo far right the other left, George is middle while Tim is default because he was Jan. 6 so he knows the default.
