Apparently, Xtina was rude to MJB about a year before this performance, that Xtina was being arrogant and had her hand out for Mary to kiss it... she talks about it in an interview. The whole thing about different suites having different performers (and not many on mainstage). This ceremony is only remembered by Britney Spears and that in itself was a lackluster performance, not matter what anyone says, it became iconic for all the wrong reasons. 2009 however, was pretty good indeed.
