Please watch b-art he is really good at inward bass, I suggest MB14 vs B-art. Also watch D-low sbx kickback compilation, it is more musical and has a lot of unique sounds. Codfish has a remix sound of Boulevard of broken dreams.

Helium has the best drum kit. Like each sound he has is so clean and the way he uses them (in so many different varieties) might as well compare them to a real drum kit. He's one of a kind

The judge that voted for overtime (reeps one) - was actually told that they werent supposed to do that this year. So that tells you how close this battle was, that one of the most OG judges was like "nah i cant do this" and went against the rules to not pick a winner.

It’s not that their isn’t enough air it’s that most snares are outward. When you do inward bass you breath in doing a snare that requires breathing outward interrupts it. Although the snare he was doing doesn’t require breathing out it’s all pressure so it can be layered with inward bass. But as far as I can tell in helium’s case he does his inward bass through the mouth so layering with that specific snare is harder than if he did inward bass through his nose which makes layering with mouth sounds easier.

btw Inertia's second drop was hyped by the crowd so much because when you're there, his bass literally shook the floor lmao. And it's one of his signature beats that he's done before, and everyone loves it.

This battle was special because it was the last battle on Day2 GBB, after all the other crazy battles, and the crowds were kinda burned out their energy in the late night. However, King Inertia and Helium delivered their most fire drops to the stage and hyped up the crowds so much. No one would be guessing this battle was just a top16 match in this tournament.That's the most impressive thing at this GBB solo category.

10:07 the hardest part about those snares is that they're outward snares while he is breathing in. I myself can do them, I fact it's one of my best techniques, and it's definitely not easy to project the sound from it.

What? Spit snare is not outward. It's a pressurized sound. Inward bass is althrough the nose so it's 2 different air ways the sound is coming from. I can do it and it's not hard at all.

I would recommend Alem vs king inertia next, another tech guy vs inertia and alem is a legend in beatboxing. Also, the reason people went crazy on 12:07 was because he used vibration bass, and I’m pretty sure no one has done that on a GBB stage before.
