Invest in automatic fire suppression systems people! A couple thousand $ worth of equipment could've prevented most (if not all) of this damage, Pennies compared to everything that was lost.. Hopefully Morita-san can recover quickly!

Damn what luck. If shipping wasn't a huge issue & cost, I'd gladly donate the spare AE86 bumper I have sun bleaching in my backyard to you to replace the melted bumper.

That's why you have to have fire suppression systems like Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) or at least sprinklers, fire resistant rooms and separated fire compartments..

ooofff, that's brutal. Hope you're giving your mechanic lots of love, this will be his whole life gone, everything he's worked for, poof gone. Insurance might take some of the pain away but no doubt all the parts/tools will be irreplaceable. I'm a mechanic and the thought of losing my garage is so scary, I hope I never have to experience this first hand!

In the northern usa its common to see people patch holes in old rusty floors with "legally acquired" street signs and old license plates since they are easy to shape to the floor and "free". Might be a cool idea for the rust holes in the 86

These videos destroy my soul, first because of the person who lost everything and second because of the jewels that are lost, in my country it is impossible to get any of these cars and it is a dream of mine to one day be able to have an S13 or an Evo 5. I am very sorry for the person and I hope that he recovers some of what he lost and moves forward.

I just lost my 240z to a shop fire last summer, so my heart sank when I saw your videos title, Morito's shop is super heart breaking but I'm so stoked the Beans survived! Definitely wanna get my hands on a shirt if they come up.

As a fellow Aussie it's very funny seeing another Aussie reacting to fires, because we've all grown up so typically matter of fact about fires. Hope you keep that bumper and lights on the Beans as much as you can (while keeping it track compliant haha) because you'll guaranteed be one of the ONLY people with a droopy style front bumper and lights!
