On this week’s episode Madison shares for the first time in full detail her experience on the Bachelor: why she went on the show, why she never talks about it, all of the behind- the- scenes moments of filming, and the questions everyone wants to know. Madison unpacks the good moments, funny and awkward moments, as well as the hard moments in the filming and airing of the show. Madi opens up about how reality tv changed her life. She answers the questions: Do you regret going on the Bachelor? Why would a Christian go on the show? How do you stay true to your values in a high-pressure environment like the Bachelor? I was 19 years old when I watched you on the show. I’m 23 now and I hope that I am just half of what you were at that age. I always admired you and your grace and how strong you were for being a firm believer in front of millions of people. Thank you for listening to the plan God had for you! I use to be a huge Bachelor fan while being Christian & then I saw you on there. I remember struggling so hard with purity and almost thinking “this is so impossible, do girls really save themselves?” & seeing you be so bold and confident truly inspired me and was an answered prayer almost. God sent his only son to die for u so live for Him (not trying to force) Gods got u and is in ur corner always, fighting for u, and the best way for u to fight is on your knees, praying. Start with journaling, prayer, worship, turn off bad music, verses, living like the fruit of the spirit each day. Nobody is perfect except Jesus. It’s okay to make mistakes, we all do. Feel free to reach out and talk for anything. ask God for wisdom in every situation. God loves u and so do i. Have a blessed day friend. Some of my fav verses: Matthew 19:26, John 3:16, Isaiah 30:21. Pick 1 fruit of the spirit today, and practice and live by it in all areas. Invite God into your life, every aspect and area. Trust the story because you know the author. Madie....I LOVE that you shared this story. Yes it was hard and God put you through a lot of trials but look at the good that came out of it? You are an example to young girls to stand true to their faith and values and purity. God spoke to you about going on the show and you were obedient and listened to Him so that He could use your testimony to be an encouragement to others. And look at how God has rewarded you - He brought the love of your life into your life and you have this incredible man that you are serving God along side of. this is so beautiful. I was a senior in HS who always has told myself I will save myself for marriage. Your season was also the only season I watched, as many other people! I think it's so beautiful the wisdom you were able to give so many of us and it has given you a platform to continue pouring into young women. It's so beautiful how God paved your path this way.

I remember that season of the bachelor and immediately was like okay I want you to win lol but I was so amazed by your vulnerability and transparency about waiting until marriage and I loved that. I started following you after seeing you on the first night and rooted for you the rest of the season. Hey Maddie!! Thank you for sharing about this. I loved your season on the Bachelor. I always admired you STAYING TRUE to yourself and the Lord, but a part of me always wondered how you ended up on the show. I was wondering if you could do an episode specifically about physical chronic or undiagnosed ailments. I have been suffering for 2.5 years with an on going and undiagnosed pain in my lower right area of my abdomen. I have definetly grown in my relationship with the Lord, and I would not change that for the world. But, I have always been an active person and now that that has been taken away (for a season I am praying) I would love to hear some wise counsel about this in particular. Thank you!

I’ve always admired your boldness for standing up for your faith in the public eye. I just find it really interesting and hard to believe that God would lead you into a situation to pursue a relationship with a man who clearly didn’t share the same values as you. When Peter was on Hannah Brown’s season, they disclosed they were intimate multiple times during fantasy suites.

One thing I notice in this season of my life God doesn’t want us to put our confidence in men, he wants us to put our confidence in him. I’m in a journey where it’s just so tough to trust God at times and I can’t imagine how hard it was trust to trust God through the process of going on the bachelor, that must of been insane to do but when God calls you to it and confirms it through his word, no men can’t stop it because his promise always comes to pass
