whoa brother, we all need a friend like Josh , you don't often find them like that anymore, but if there's anywhere your bound to find one it's in the skoolie-bus life community and that's for sure, not only does he volunteer his own time. on his own dime to help a friend in a build, he's like a Santa Claus while doing it. It's a good thing his wife made that stocking, you should have brought it with you on your hike but be careful Isaac may be filling it not with Lumpia but with lumps of another kind on Christmas. Josh is an awesome guy, now as for you Levi, out wandering around in the PNW, no gloves, no damn snow boots and only shoes on, your what mountain men would refer to as a "pilgrim" or a greenhorn...didn't you ever see the movie Jerimiah Johnson, you got some learning to do, you'll find out when that one foot sinks down 3 feet in the snow and you fall on your ass and drop your phone in the snow, i wonder what a pair of snowshoes would look like that would be able to support a giant such as yourself ....and don't forget, winter weather doesn't stop wild animals from roaming around out there especially when their hungry ...have you ever seen the foghorn leghorn cartoon where the little fox looks at the giant chicken and imagines he looks like a roasted turkey with the steam from the oven still wafting off his wings (ha, I stopped the video to write this first part at 9:10 in and start it back up to hear you say your regretting your decision)...did you notice those marks on the trail were from SKI'S, not boots....you now know how laboring it is to fight the deep snow when your feet constantly drop into the snow and you have to pull them out, its now fun. Never go out into the woods without protection for the extremities the face the hands and the feet bring a small towel and a pair of dry socks just in case learn what to put in that knapsack beside that bologna sandwich and those 2 cans of mountain dew ,,,,,,,,, graupel its graupel ... that's what little perfectly round granule looking beads of snow/hail are called

You might have and we just didn't know about it...but please take an emergency backpack with you on your person when you hike. Flashlight, lighter/fire starter, knife or small hatchet, snacks, water, Hot hands, and something to mark your trail if needed....and good gracious...if you're adventuring...your next investment should be waterproof cold weather hiking boots! Coming from a born and raised southern Oregonian...that's been stomping around for more than 5 decades almost 6! Oregon mountains and snow can be beautiful...but deadly. Don't underestimate them. Not trying to discourage you...just encourage you to be prepared is all. What a gorgeous trail that was though...thank you for sharing that!

Levi you really had me worried! 😟 It is not that you are out of shape. Better preparation for Oregon snow would have made your trip easier. Snowshoes are absolutely needed in 6" snow but is recommended for less. I prefer foam Crescent Moon Edys. Fits any type of boots, feet will stay dry and walking/running is easy. Curved for movement and spiked for no slipping and traction. Also should have snow pants to keep you warm & dry. Loved the winter scenes ❄☃️❄ especially with the running creek & its sound. Would be great if, when more prepared, you could travel taking scenes more slowly & set to music. Josh and his wife were so generous to gift you what you needed to keep you warm for winter. They are fantastic people. The jackets are well fitted to you. I like watching you grow into your Oregon adventure, bus building and video skills. Keep climbing and going forward! Levi,, You need some hiking boots and some ice cleats (over the boots) to be out there walking in that winter wonderland. You probably burned quite a few calories during that hike. Enjoyed your video. Love the scenery. Just be careful when you’re out there alone..

Levi I saw larger sizes of flannel shirts in Cabela’s in Springfield last weekend. My husband also needs tall sizes and they had tall in every size from Large up to 5XL.

Go buy you some lacrosse boats keep your warm and dry they have been the only boots I can find to keep my feet warm ice fishing and out in the snow love them had to buy three pairs of boots one winter to find a pair that kept my feet warm I live in Michigan
