Plumbers would hide these "secret tricks" out of embarrassment.

I heard this guy had to go into hiding because the plumber's union bosses put a bounty on his head. Good for them.
@soundguydon7 місяців тому
LOL - Tricks that plumbers hide from you? Really? I laughed at the block of wood instead of the 45 degree cut for the corner, but 'ya really lost me at supergluing razor blades to a knife rather than sharpening it.

there's the reason why plumbers hide these "tricks" from you. ;D

It’s nice to get inspiration from videos, hopefully that happens with one of the next vids I watch. I guess learning what not to do is as good as inspiration sometimes

Plumbers learn this at the Plumbers Secret Tricks College during their apprenticeship. It's very important to hide this crap.
@JEFFREYHAUGAN3 місяці тому
Guess I never learned that in the plumbers secret tricks college cause I never used any of these in over 40 years of plumbing and after watching this can't think why I would ever WANT to!!!

You lost me after the hack at 1:26. God gave me ears as somewhere to keep my pencil. 😎👍

Why do it that way when you can destroy a perfectly good tape measure?
@RCInsiders7 місяців тому
@@Procrastinator1948 😂😂
@martinkuliza6 місяців тому
that's right Because god created man and then he looked at man and it wasn't GOOD. Man wasn't missing woman, He was Missing a place to put his pencil so he did what any self respecting god would do, He got onto you God Tube and there was another God Tuber showing 15 HACKS FOR YOUR HUMANS and he saw one of them so.. he got out his drill and those ears that he picked up from Jaycar on special , 2 for a $1. He screwed them into either side of our heads so WE WOULD HAVE SOMEWHERE TO PUT OUR PENCIL or Cigar or whatever else, bubble Gum etc
@Kittsuera6 місяців тому
even if you wanted the return feature for a pencil as shown, they sell those already made, and its cheaper than tearing apart a tape measure, finding the right length cord, and using a heat shrink wrap instead of elastic rubber that would accept new drawing devices once they wore out.

What a great idea at #11 to use that improvised "T" to cover those uninsulated connections. That's some smart brains right there, yeseree!
@buggsy57 місяців тому
Yep, some of the "tricks" are outright dangerous. Several would be outright illegal in any country that enforced its plumbing and electrical codes. Most of what was shown has nothing to do with plumbing.
@Forrest-Jackson7 місяців тому
That's how plumbers hide their electrical tricks from non-plumbers.
