My grandma died from meningitis at 39, and my mom (her daughter) was only two years old. Thank goodness we have vaccines nowadays, but it really puts into perspective how bad these illnesses were, especially when there were no vaccine alternatives. Thank goodness your mom is okay!

Honestly I’m glad that she is alright. Speaking of one story my uncle did die from cancer which was just hard to go through for my family. But you always have to respect them because you don’t know how much time they’re here for you ❤

7:46 honestly I truly understand that because my mum is battling terminal cancer and she had cancer which started off in the lungs and rapidly spread to the brain. Now I'm only 14 but I do understand what it must be like to be I'll. Anyway I am so happy that your mum is making a full recovery. We are all extremely proud of her. She is an incredibly strong, warmhearted and determined woman and make sure that you take it easy and rest. 👍👍

Wow, this hits home. I’ve also suffered with Bacterial Meningitis when I was 9, it has left some long lasting effects on me but i’m doing ok now. Fair play, she’s a fighter - wishing you all the best for the future.

I’m glad your ok Jill. I remember when I had meningitis when I was 3. I was in hospital for 3 weeks. I’m so lucky and grateful that I had no side effects or any other problems after I was out of hospital. I know exactly what it feels like to be in your position, feels horrible but I’m glad your ok 😃

My mother has been getting extremely ill from cancer recently and she also went to the hospital and stayed for about 2 weeks and it was honestly very scary for me because im 14 and my dad left when I was younger, they said my mother will only live for the next 2 years so we are doing everything we can (my sisters and me) to help her I know what you're going through so I pray for your mother

I'm so glad that everyone is doing well! I've had a scary family experience where my uncle had a heart attack in a drive thru... basically died instantly and he crashed into the car in front of him. The car in front of him just happened to be a nurse and the car behind him just happened to have a defibrillator. He died several times and finally got brought back to life for real. He was in a coma for over a month and has recovered miraculously. 4 years later he's at his brother's wedding making a speech about it. God is amazing!

I had a similar experience with my own mum but she had really severe Pneumonia instead of meningitis. She had countless moments when she nearly lost her life. If we didn’t get her to the hospital in time she would of sadly passed away. I’m glad that big Jill had a good recovery and I hope for all the best. ❤

I am so sorry that this happened to your mom. A few days ago, me, my mom, and step-dad were all tested positive for COVID a 2nd time after being tested positive for COVID last year during spring break before we were vaccinated, but my sister was lucky that she wasn't positive this time because she's now 5 years old and she'll be turning 6 next month on the 5th.

People probably thought it was clickbait. I haven't watched Morgz properly for years, but I am glad she recovered from something so scary and this can be used to spread awareness. Ultimately I think they care about each other. It would be good if they maybe stated the symptoms but for people, not to scare anyone, to look out for just in case.

Aw I’m glad she’s okay meningitis is a really scary thing as I’ve had meningococcal meningitis septicaemia when I was younger so glad big gill is still going big and strong ❤
