I played youth league soccer when I was a kid (for like 3-4 years, I think) and I remember loving being the goalie. Partly because I had very little stamina to run around the field for long periods of time, but also because I was actually really good (or just decent) at it. There are only two things I remember about being a goalie, and they both involved injuries. One was that I tried to do this anime/kung fu move where I kicked off the vertical goal posts to get higher to stop a ball and landed on my back, almost knocking myself out. The other memory was just me trying to throw ball to my teammates after stopping it, but some kid on the other team just ran up and kicked it into my balls, WHILE I WAS STILL HOLDING IT. The dumbass thought that we were just allowed to kick it even while the goalie was holding it.

It's hilarious hearing him talk about his ginger friend because I am an outgoing ginger with a minor tremor!
