damn, i can relate to RM translating stuff, my former bestfriend lives in northern and im from southern, there are a lot of shits that only southerns can understand there was even a time we were attending a conference and the speaker was a southern, he brought his brother along so i sat next to them so i could translate and man, its definitely hard bcz while youre laughing because of what the speaker just said and then there they are, waiting for me to translate it to them so they could join the fun.. its pretty exhausting

True, he protects them at all costs coz you see they don't understand English that much but they can pick up the meaning of words. Well they are all wit if it's their language but they struggle to find words in English to define their ideas. Like, he suffers first then he translate it to them especially that the other members have limited English so he make it easy and convey it to them so they won't get irritated coz if it's in their language it could be more insulting. Time will come the members will be fluent in English and they'll be quick in responding in English

Sometimes I think that he’s not always being sarcastic intentionally. I think he might be one of those ppl who speaks very directly and says what he’s thinking literally with “no filter” so, it can come off that way a lot. However, there are times when he is definitely throwing shade and saying things with a clear “edge”. Love Namjoon's sassiness. One of my fav moments (not shown here) was that during an interview Jin said go out without friends for a day cuz he doesn't have any, then all the members started yelling at him and Jin said sorry. I remember Namjoon was like, 'yeah, sorry for him' lol I think RM really helped many non-Korean armys to understand BTS a lot better, not just because he's fluent in English, but also understanding the culture and being a master in the art of communication
